I forget the name but it was on Rt. 1.  Haven't been there for 15 years, but I remember the place you are thinking about......

The Loop? Is the one that looks like a fortress? Is used for lots of short stay stuff, as they have 4 hours rates. Decent settings.
There is another that looks like a dungeon...with heartshaped beds too, but the place is run down and nasty. I don't like it.
If you want nice theme places, try either the Inn of the Dove (nice suites) or Feather's Nest (lots of different suites). They have places all over NJ. Just look up to their websites.
