I can't let you remind us everyday (with a new thread). I've written before that I feel it's the moderator's job to keep a level playing field as much as possible.

I'm not picking on Elizabeth. I'm sure she's a wonderful lady. It really isn't fair to the other wonderful ladies of NYC to start new threads on consecutive days telling us about Elizabeth.

I'm going to implement a "one thread per page" rule. I've already asked you to do this for Sports and politics. Now I will extend this rule for "fan club" threads as well.

I respectfully ask you to just scan the first page of this board to see if there is an existing thread covering your topic before starting a new thread.

Thanks for the updated advice. I was wondering what happened to my posting on Elizabeth. Now that you've laid out the guidelines (again) for us (sometimes I don't get to see all the guidelines); it's easy enough to adhere to!
I will warn you...that once a new page is started, I just may have to post my thread for Elizabeth again. When these providers get to town and are as good as they are, sometimes one just has to HOLLER it out!!

When Staff asked me to become MOD here, he anticipated that it might be a rough job at the beginning because there had been a number of moderators here in a relatively short time. I realize that I've been a bit stricter than previous NYC moderators but I try to be consistent. You guys haven't given me a lot of grief (really none and I appreciate that fact.

Nice post Thirtsy. I think you better explained your reasoning for this on the Boston board. Each provider should be given the same amount of air time. Numerous threads about one provider defeats that purpose. You definately are stricter than the past moderators we have had, but I will say that it has benefited the NY board. I think in the past few months we have seen more guys participate on the board and I think that has alot to do with your interaction. Just my thoughts! Keep up the good work!
