Here is a learning lession for the newbies. Notice how all of the reviews of the ladies are by Hobbyists that have only reviews of NYC Action girls. All of the reviews by these Hobbyists make the girls sound wonderful. Then....

there is a review of Denelle (I think) that is from a Hobbyist that has been with other ladies besides NY Action girls. Guess what happened? He didn't have a good time. Lesson here: never trust such great reviews unless the Hobbyist has a track record.

You can see who the Hobbyist has been with by double clicking on his name once you are reviewing a NY Action girl. Or better yet, click on the telephone number to see all of the agency's reviews. Notice a trend with NYC Action. Hey, it's your money but it looks like you'd be better off looking somewhere else.

interesting. NYCaction appears out of nowhere and then gets all these reviews that read like they were written by the same junior copywriter.

Given that TER has tossed other agencies because of bogus reviews, I'm disappointed that they haven't shut down these losers.

Get on the stick, guys!

I made an appointment the day before, reconfirmed that day when they opened, reconfirmed again before going there.  Arriving at the corner on time, per instructions, I was subjected to 15 minutes of ridiculous phone tag, with no entry.  I finally gave up and left.

Hobbyist "bobbydavis" should have been so lucky. His review of Denelle was bordering sad.

Just for the record, I'm not questioning the girls. I'm questioning the author (note: not authors) that wrote the lame reviews and thought we'd never catch on.

Then again, if it wasn't for TER I would have never been able to make the connection. There are two ways to look at it.

Go to the discussion board and explain that you are a new agency. You will give a discount ($50 to $100) to TER members. As long as the place is legit, all sides win. The girls get reviews, the agency gets business and the members get a deal for the first few weeks. Too bad NYC Action will never get that chance but maybe others will be smarter.

What would you (TER members) recommend?

I was sucked into this one early on, and I am familiar with this scam. I missed it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.  THIS IS BOGUS.

TER, Please get rid of it before more of your members get screwed.

This thread has been hashed about many times on the National Boards of TER, and I'm glad we're doing it here on the NY Board.  I think that if an agency is legit and starting out, that they would want to benefit from advertising in essence for free on this board.  1way is correct in his plan -- advertise, tell  us a little about the providers, perhaps some tidbit of what to expect in services, and a 1 time TER member discount.  They would then have exactly what they need from TER:  Good reviews.  And the TER membership would have what they want:  A good source for providers.  WIN-WIN.

..go in (no pun intended) and give us all a report. We'll all take up a small collection to pay for the Hobbyist expenses. But the Hobbyist has to see the lady we choose!!

.....I don't feel bad as if I pity you. I just don't like to hear about people getting ripped off (clients and providers). But your review made me look into this so thanks.  1way

You make an excellent point: those of us with well-tuned BS detectors spotted this one a mile away. I think that it would be helpful, if and when TER does shut down an agency, instead of just deleting the agency's reviews, they could add it to a list of banned or questionable agencies.

As long as we call them as we see them, we'll keep the members from spending their money (and time) with a bad agency. Keep posting, NY hobbyists have a lot of information and experience.

It's too bad that that the NY board is mostly advertising. One comment can turn into an interesting learning experience. Be well.
