I have been in the hobby for some time now and I have come to the conclusion that the best bang for the buck is offered by Florida agencies. The girls are reasonably priced and most are GFE's. This being said, many of the Florida agencies arn't touring New York City, they are instead touring around the city, up in the boon docks in Long Island, out in New Jersey and I even saw an add for a girl touring Hicksville New York. If you guys want to see these quality girls in Manhattan as I do, please E-mail them and let them know. I have attached the E-mail addresses and web site addresses for your convenience.
And I thought that it was just me that noticed this trend.
I really wish that these agencies would give more support to Manhattan. Excuse me while I rant...
I've made it a point to look through some of the other cities on eros periodically; some of the talent out there is absolutely amazing (there are ladies from the midwest & the south that I've wanted to meet for at least a year, and the closest they ever get is BOSTON) with stellar reviews. Allthough sometimes we get minimal interest; most of the time, NYC just gets skipped all together.
I do not know, but I think that the perception is that NYC is an "expensive and dangerous" place to send your talent; so much in fact, that I find even some NJ talent won't cross the Hudson.
Perhaps it's just the post 9/11 economy at work (no folks, it ain't over yet! remember "lies, damn lies and statistics"); maybe these agencies aren't seeing the ROI required to merit the trips. If that's truly the case, then the only way to change the perception is a show of interest from the NYC team -- With follow-through on the interest.
Speaking of the economics of it; It is frustrating to see the LOCAL rates recently accelerate in the manner that they have; even more so based on some of the reviews that I have read. This might just be because of inflation, but I think that it's also because ALL business has declined somewhat in recent times. I really have to see at least 2 reviews to justify ANYTHING, so a lot of the local new talent... you get the picture. For the most part, I notice that the reviews are better for the out of state agencies; and recent mumblings on this board about false reviews and what-not really have me being just gun-shy about locals.
Bottom line; a great customer experience at a reasonable price equals great business. I'm surprised that so *few* capitalize on this. It's just basic good business.
I sure wish that one of these agencies would respond to your thread, even if just to see the response; I'd like to see NYC be the fun place it was when I moved here not that long ago...
I can not believe that someone from NYC would complain that all the agencies come to Long Island. We have nothing on Long Island. NYC gets all the independent girls. We get a hand full of them on LI, but that is about it. I have seen so many ads on EROS for independent girls that I would love to see,but for some reason they decided to go to NYC and skip LI. This never made any sense to me as the hotels are cheaper on LI, and the competition is almost non-existent.
NYC gets all the good traveling BDJ girls, while LI gets almost the same BDJ girls every week. I think the other agencies are starting to realize that Long Island does not have much provider-wise, so this is why they are sending more of their girls here. I look almost every day on EROS for girls to see and I have a tough time finding one that I want to see. I would prefer to hobby at least twice a week, but I can never find 2 girls on LI that I would want to see in a week. I have $800 a week in my pocket that is burning a hole in my pocket looking to get spent. Maybe as the summer arises, we will get to see more providers include LI on their tours.
Energizer is absolutely correct. The reason the Miami services LOVE Long Island so much is because it has virtually NOTHING of it's own. There's a lot of money out here, and no providers. How could someone in Manhattan complain about ANYTHING. You have the TOP agencies in the country right on your island. Agengies that supply TOP MODELS: FleurdeElite, Chez Brigette, Tower Models, New York Confidential, American-Beauties, MonaLisa-Models, Kennan International, Portfolio Elite, Fairchild Agency, Sloan Club... and on and on and on. These places supply TOP TOP TOP TOP models. Why would a Manhattanite even care what Florida has to offer? The Florida agencies know there is TOO MUCH competition in NYC, so they go to L.I. It's all about supply and demand. That's good business.
I have to agree with this. As a fellow Long Islander, I have long maintained on this board that the better portion of talent ends up going to Manhattan. To illustrate:
1. The Long Island LE have been much more aggressive than their NYC counterparts at shutting down the MPs in Nassau and Suffolk, taking away most of the low-end options. Queens and Manhattan are full of lower-priced providers.
2. By my count, there is only one agency native to LI: NY Jewels. All others have been shut down or are not well-reviewed. There are many more options in the city.
3. BDJ and other agencies, while seeming to send an increasing number of providers to LI, (a welcome trend), still seem to reserve their best providers for NYC.
And most importantly, 4. Julie's doesn't have a Long Island location. 'nuff said. =)
Personally, while I'd love to have more options on LI, I'm quite willing to drive into the city for the greater selection there. It will take a lot to change my mind. You NYC'ers don't know how good you have it...
