It's nice to know when I stir the pot a little bit we can have fun (Whore College thread) and we can discuss hot topics rationally and politely (The providers who won't see certain men thread).

As long as I am a mod here, I will do my best to make sure that TER discussion boards will consist of more than just schedule/ads and ISO posts.

Thanks for the great response!

Always has, always will.  It's like a like a bad Jerry Springer-type show. Misunderstandings and recriminations run rampant.  Feelings get hurt.  Providers with these policies feel under siege.  Minorities get to hear a slew of demeaning theories (the NY board was thankfully devoid of these this time).

It's good drama for some, but I'm not sure how it helps the ladies or the minority hobbyists.

You are too much! If you're not open enough to see that this is a valid issue for discussion in the hobby, I can't help you.

...except that I will watch your posts a bit more closely. Hey, I'm sure Springer would do the same.

P.S. I'm starting a thread next weekend on providers who offer special rates for midget tossing. I expect you to contribute. ;)

I know someone else started the thread on that
board but it seemed to be civil.

What other mod "closes" a discussion thread?

I've done it a couple of times when threads turn into two person "pissing contests." Then it just becomes bla...bla...bla!

I can't recall the last time I closed a thread.

Merely saying that a post about a racial issue will always elicit a strong response.  I'm not sure why I'm being punished for stating that which is obviously true...or for stating how it impacts different people.  Because I didn't embrace the topic I need to be watched?  If someone, particularly a moderator, wants to stimulate debate by introducting a hot topic, shouldn't people be free to express their views?

After being called a racists by a few people, I over-reacted. I apologize.
