First time visitor to NY this spring, active more in the midwest.  I am stunned by the volume of ads to go thru in the different sites, and doing a VIP search is only minimally helpful.  Wanted a little local knowledge...looking for a high-end provider ($500+)...agency or independent. Several appear good on mona lisa, but I get the feeling that agency is overpriced and does the bait and switch.  Any help appreciated and can help any of you coming to the midwest or California area.

Do some research, there aren't that many high-end providers and I for one would like to keep it that way.

I never go over 300 range, it's guys like you that ruin it for the rest of us.

I have seen a dozen different girls from Mona Lisa and have never experienced a switcheroo. A few of the girls have fake pictures for confidentiality (for example, the legendary Diana's were fake) but the photos are always reasonably close and Mia is honest and straightforward about each girl's attributes. Mona Lisa is not cheap, but they provide excellent service, and always seem to be adding fresh, young and willing ladies. I have used NYCovergirls (a Jessica for Brianna switch by them, $800) and Fleur de Elite (Angelina, $1000, and a Talulah for Tuya switch, $1000) and, although the girls were very beautiful, the prices were high and the sessions good but not great. Lauren from Miami Companions ($500) is based in NY, is in your price range and is a genuine sweetheart. Although I haven't used either one, New York Jewels (Alyssa Young) and Belle de Jour get high marks in the $300 to $400 category. Tower Models ($500 range) pulls switches, but some customers don't seem to care.
