I have a problem. I'm looking for a safe, professional experience but v reluctant to give out my real name and number for fear an LE bust will take the database and publish names. I'd love to start visit a top-quality pro like BDJ...but is my paranoia about business cards, etc overblown? Is there any way to start a respectful, mutually beneficial relationship with a quality provider while retaining my own privacy? Thanks.

I think it is possible. I do not know for sure who keeps a database and who doesn't. Sometimes it is better to go UTR or independent just because we tend (or I don't anyway, keep records of anything)...some do so just be careful.
Happy hunting luv!

You will need to provide the typical verification information. Once you are verified I know for a fact that Kim disposes of your personal information(I had asked in the past). When you call she has a way of knowing if you are an old client or a new one(she would not tell me how she does that).

If any agecny lets you see one of their girls without verifying you first, then I would worry. The agencies that take the shortcuts are the ones that get busted. I know none of us like giving our personal information out, but you need to remember that this is how they stay safe. Good Luck!

Thanks for the response. I totally understand the agency need to protect themselves and their women from the freaks. But to be clear, 1) It's hard to 'dispose' of information even if it's deleted from a hard drive and 2) I'm sure they still keep real names on file. I'd love to see a system that has same stringent requirements up front--but kept on paper until verification...after which time a password/alias was issued for the future. Then any bust would only find a locked door.

Guys are so worried about getting caught by giving your personal information and having it end up in LE hands need to recognize the obvious. Of the hundreds of agencies across the country that have been busted you rarely or close to never hear of the client list being published. Why? Because many of the people who patronize these high price establishments are prominent and well known in every sector of the community. Who ever persued prosecution would be looking for new jobs with in the month. Hobby your little hearts out just stay away from the drugs.

I am a semi-newbie and am just ready to get my feet wet. I have done some PM's with respected hobbyists and their info has proved invaluable. I am waiting for a bit more information before I break my hobbyist cherry.

As to databases and personal information, each individual situation is different. I am single, and have nothing to hide. However, I am somewhat paranoid about verification through my employer and my credit card information. As we all know, identity theft is one of the biggest scams in the country. Obviously, known providers and agencies offer a modicum of security. The provider's safety is paramount, but how can the hobbyist be assured that the information he has to provide will be sacrosanct from all other avenues of exposure?

When I have this info, I can start making phone calls, and posting reviews. Any thoughts?

Villagegirl:

Good generalization, but not the truth. Many of us hobbyists are blue collar workers with lots of disposable income. I happen to have a supreme court judge in my back pocket, but if you think that most of your clientele are "hooked up," you are dead wrong. You provider's have to understand that some of the guys who make a date with don't make a six figure salary! We love you, but we expect you to treat us like we were millionaires. That's what we're spending the money for. We would all like to think that we are special. Isn't that what GFE means? I know that there are a lot of guys who turn you off mentally as well as physically, but if you advertise as GFE, than you better provide that experience. Of course you always retain the right to make you donation so high that only certain clientele can afford to see you. That's your prerogative. It seems to me, that some providers do what they do because they're totally into their sexually, while others may do so because they realize that it's a means to an end. I don't deign to cast aspersions on either philosophy, just make sure you know what you're in the game for.

Bottom line, thanks for being there for us, but don't judge!

I believe that the password/alias system is used by Julies in NYC. Some of the Julie's patrons can probably confirm that. The fast houses in queens also us that method. With that method you have no way of knowing for sure if your information has been erased from their records. They may tell you one thing and then do something completely different.

I would never pay for a session by a credit card. I never want to leave any type of paper trail. I would much rather pay in cash, so that their is no record of my transaction. Maybe I am paranoid, but I would much rather be safe than sorry. I am sure that their are 2 schools of thought on this, but this is my opinion on the subject.

I have had agencies verify my employment. I have nothing to hide, so I never have a problem with giving this information out. I feel safer with agenices/indy's that have stricter verification procedures. They are always discrete when they do this, so I would not worry about it.

Good Luck with breaking your hobbyist cherry! :)

I didnt say anything about having anyone in a back pocket or GFE or anything else you were talking about.

I was speaking in regards to the likelihood of a persons hobbying being reveiled to the public. It has nothing to do with having connections or being blue collar or white collar but the simple fact that everyone enjoys "this thing of ours". And blackbooks contain too many well known people and this is true in most cases from here to LA, from Chicago to Texas. People in investigative positions know better than to publish a list. It's pretty much professional suicide in my opinion.

So as I said in my previous post enjoy your self, and don't be so paranoid.

I to am single and have nothing to hide. I have only been with a few providers and each have asked for my work info etc. But like EB has mentioned, I feel better about my sessions when Im asked for this info. And also, I agree with Buddym about not letting the fear prevent me from enjoying my new hobby. Im having to much fun to be scared away. I think the verification process makes it safer for both sides.

Happy Hobbying

ps Happy holidays everyone. Be safe and best wishes

I think that getting the idea that you might leave trails by people requiring too much personal info would scare me off. Paypals, credit cards, releasing you office phone number...I think are just bad ideas. I know a person who runs a house and keeps a little blackbook of numbers when they are slow, she calls them up. I feel for those guys who gave out that type of info.
I had a person asking to pay by caskiers check wanting my full name address and mail it to me.
Gee, I wonder what that was all about...stating the obvious.
