There are one or two providers that I feel very close to, and I want them to do well.  Especially if it keeps them in NYC more often.

Is there any incentive if you men are shilling for providers or are you just happy motherfu%$#@'s ?

Every week, a provider's income becomes more and more driven by the number and quality of her TER reviews.  So, the temptation to negotiate low or no fees for positive reviews and Discussion Board postings is undeniable.  I'll never forget an average AMP session recently, in which the provider, who spoke barely any English, said goodbye to me, adding, "You writee ...internet ...good sexiie!"

And as we all know, some TER members have been banned because they were actually paid by providers to post positive messages on the Discussion Board.

It looks like we have found one of the people that has been posting favorable amp reviews for discounted sex. I have lost enough money because of people like you. It is because of people like you that I no longer trust any of the AMP reviews.

Looks like Officer may not be posting under an alias after all. He may have been banned for his phoney amp reviews and this explains why his new TER handle has no reviews.

There are one or two providers that I feel very close to, and I want them to do well.  Especially if it keeps them in NYC more often.

I have one solid client in NYC. (Another lives in NYC and chooses to see me elsewhere.) I have been to NYC 3-4 times and really only see one person everytime I go, despite all the hoopla, other guy's PMs, e-mails, and even with me being willing to be close to Wall St., I haven't had a new client! Go figure. I actually lose money when I come to NYC due to hotel, food, cab fare, and plane tickets, but I like to keep my regular happy. He is happy to see me, and shares his joy here, but it hasn't helped my business here, but he gets the same wonderful sexxxy service every time I come, er cum. My two shinny copper pennies.

You only see one client every time you come here, and you lose money on these trips.  Basic economics would dictate three actions based on this.

1.  Stop coming.
2.  Lower your fee.
3.  Accept the loss and consider it more vacation that business trip.

I am a firm believer that a girl should charge whatever she wants for her time.  I would never ask a girl for a discount.  I just don't bother with girls who are out of my price range.  The closest I have come was accepting the offer of a girl to keep her old pricing after she raised her rates.

Anyway, that said, I am curious about how girls set their rates.  I think you should charge as much as you can get, but it seems clear that, while you may be completely worth the money, your rates are pricing you out of the NYC competition.

Wouldn't it be worthwhile to lower your 2 hour rate by $200 (putting you inline with the competition) if it meant walking away from a trip with an extra $1000/day (assuming 2 clients per day).

If you are happy with your client base, then there is no reason to change.  But your post about losing money on each trip indicates that you could be happier.

Just a thought.

...but ultimately every hobbyiest has their own taste in ladies and with that in mind...many times, a "shill" is a shrill!

Alias "shills" are usually the most alien in nature and should only be taken with a grain of salt and do not penetrate my provider "force" field.(DANGER!...Will VonRyan)I must admit though that there are a few seasoned hobbyists in this region that share my tastes and when they post its like music to my ears...and I listen.ALso true when a hot visiting lady comes into NY as I always "review" who is doing the reviewing and I'm very leary of those "tag along" ter members who post "got to see her" BS unless its a TER member with similiar tastes and good TER credentials.

There was one fellow hobbyiest a short while ago who was obviously a "one agency" guy. His "shilling" was incessant and became repulsive.(had to be some sort of financial motive) Its great to see him not posting anymore but I have my suspicion on an alias that has recently come on the scene although I will not dwell or lose any sleep over it.A leopard will eventually show their spots...lol

As for myself, I believe in the "smorgasbord" method of hobbying....Indy,agency,out of towners, local.Sure, just like Waterclone, I have my favorites and because of some fantabulous sessions with these special providers...I would like them to do well and stay successful in the business and/or come back and visit. As one of these providers once said to me,"there is no greater reward for me then to see you once again".Its one of my tokens of appreciation for a great provider and what I have received in return is better, sexier, and more lustful sessions with less and less clock watching.

So take it from the Sly Slims school of hobbying...The educated hobbyist is the providers best customer.

Cheers!

Interesting stuff.
I myself generally only post less than good reviews, preferring to keep the good ones for myself! (lol)

discussion and review boards for Veronica Monroe.  She has an army of shills that seem so motivated...by what, I don't know.  Great post by the way...could not have said it better myself.  Keep up the good work.

An offensive shill is one who will continuously and repeatedly "defend" the Agency against even the most routine criticism.  If a good provider has been maligned in her performance, there will be no shortage of defenders.  One look at a maligned provider's reviews will tell you what is happening.

On the other hand, it is really laughable when shills write multiple postings defending an agency against the most routine business snafu---overbooking, late arrivals, a cranky provider that dislikes a cranky hobbyist--that happens to well-run airlines, or even McDonald's. Most providers reading the criticism can figure out that a popular provider must a) give excellent service; and b) manage her time more assiduously than a Wall Street associate trying to make partner.  Both a) and b) are difficult to do.  (If only Wall Street lawyers were as professional as the providers on this Board.)

That shills get a discount--fine, that means that they've fooled someone, once.

Just as they recognize the reviewers who inflate the experience just to impress the provider. Even if a hobbyist doesn't shill, if everyone of his reviews contains 9s and 10s, I would think that readers would give his opinion less weight.

As for Friends, we look forward to getting reviewed by NYC hobbyists but we want honest, accurate reviews. We intend to be here for awhile. The only way to establish yourself in a new area is by providing top notched service!

Warm regards,

Tanya

I have thirty--(30)--reviews.  I'd review one of your girls, right here in New York City.  Puhleeeeze choose me!!!! I was always the last one picked in elementary school for baseball games in the playground and have spent thousands of dollars in psychiatric fees getting over it and you wouldn't want that on your conscience, would you, if you picked someone else to review your girls for a discount, huh?  Please, please, please, with sugar on top and whipped cream, pick me!!!

Now, now captyve...you know I never suggested that. ;) I teased Santino by challenging him to take one for the team. The ladies of Friends have a very good review record. Discounts are not offered because every gentleman receives the same service whether or not they choose to submit a review, our best service!

Warm regards,

Tanya

I watch several regional boards and sometimes see a pattern where one hobbyist (or two, usually buddies)  mentions the same girl's name over and over again in trivial posts.

He'll say, "I just had a great dinner date with Provider A."  Three days later: "Man, I can't wait until I see Provider A for our hot date tomorrow night."

After awhile, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the only reason for these trivial posts is to promote  Miss A. This begs the question...why does Miss A need the extra help? I'd think that might backfire and scare off some potential clients.

What's the incentive--either the hobbyist is currently dating the provider, or she offers deep discounts in return for the PR posts. I guess the discount is worth it to a few guys, even though they may be outed as untrustworthy shills.

I think the most believable posters are the guys who ask questions or make comments about a variety of girls. Sure, they may have a few favorites, but you can tell they're not "pimping" for any particular lady. :)

Agirlsthoughts3516 reads

I mean there are guys who have such motive behind the promoting it's so obvious. I like my toys and many guys love their posts looking huge and out there, helping the provider only to say " your busy because of me"

That is insane, what do I do with this type of guy?

I would suggest you avoid being put in those situations. As the arise, discreetly dis-associate yourself from that hobbyist.
There are plenty of 'straight shooters' out here who just want to enjoy everything you have to offer!

Chrissy just tell us when you are coming back to NY so you can show them how it is done!!!!
