The spiritual heir to the Harmony was Dumbarton II in LIC. In the backrooms everything could and did go on for a nominal price. The girls were mostly latin and black-some horrendous , a few quite hot. Might have been a little too ghetto for you white boys, but actually was quite safe. Unfortunately fellas this place has also recently been closed down. You just cant have some cheap fun in NYC anymore!

I don't know if some of you remember the Harmony Theaters in 22 St. and Church St. in NYC.  They were closed in the mid 90's by Giuliani during his crackdown.  This was during the time he was cheating on his wife by having an affair with one of his advisors, what a hypocrite!!!!  Had a chance to go out with some of the ladies that worked in the Harmony.  Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any places similar to these that might be operating in the underground.  They were a great place to sample women before actually going out with them.  Thank you for any info you might have.

Who did you go out with from the Harmony?  Just curious.

I would prefer not to post any names, since you never know who might be reading these forums.  Suffice to say, it was quite a variety over the years.  It was the only place in NY that I would frequent and it was my favorite.  I was closed down because people got carried away in what they would do there.  They missed the point that its value was not what they could do there, but rather who they could meet and arrange to see outside of that setting.

I thought Harmony got closed down since it was within 500' of a house of worship -- one of Guiliani's no-no's.

Was my favorite club --- but I was too naive to know that the girls there engaged in "extracurricular" activities off the premises.

No "where to find info."  I was naive at that
time too.Although Judy, tall busty brunette
made the offer.  I remember Roxanne, Willow,
and Sheri, all did stuff they "shouldn't"(?).
You'd think the concept of look then touch
on the outside would live on at Legz Diamonds
or gents' clubs like 20 West 20 ? Who knows
a good joint for this approach?

The old old Harmony theater used to be on 47th street in Times Square, second floor side street, do you remember that?

Have not heard of such a place n NYC any-longer- morals crackdown?

Anything and everything went for $1 tips on the lap and on the stages.

With the revitalization of Times Square, they moved to 17th Street in the late 80's, and then to Church Street and 22nd Street where they were finally closed down.  As far as I am concerned it was a big loss because you could sit with a girl and you could talk and figure out what she would do or not do for a small amount of money.  This made it very easy to decide who it was worth going out with and who was not.

I too, had a very nice time with some ladies of the Harmony.
In addition to the Broadway, Church St & 22nd St locations, there were also 2 sites (short lived) around 17th & Broadway.
Some of the ladies I remember from the Harmony were (in no
particular order) Susan Nero, Susaye London, Kandy Barbour,
Cleopatra, Sparkle, Roxanne, Stacy, Calico, Sandy, Fifi,Margo,
Amber, Willow, Nadia, Natasha, Kitten, Joceylyn, Nina, Lori,
Danielle, Toy, Bianca, India, Stacks, Goldie,Cody, Zmare,
Willow, Taboo, Jeneece, Carol, Erica, Naomi, Giovanna, Olga,
Michelle, Johanna,Wanda, Billie, Vivian & Cody.
I'm sure I left out alot of ladies but it was nice reminiscing.
If anyone knows where any of these ladies are please advise.
I know that one of the above ladies (at least for a while)
worked at Scores.

I just remembered someone else who was just great to sit with
and wish that I knew if she was still in the business.
Does anyone else remember Sydney ?

I ran across this yesterday when I was reading some of the threads on Utopia.  The folks on Utopia seem happy with the service (not everyone, but most).  I have not been there; use your own judgement.
