So, I have to bring this up because I feel like we all owe it to one another as a community to do something about this issue...So often I will go to do a little research on a provider and see that her ratings all consist of exclusively 9's and 10's. Now, I have seen a whole bunch of pornstars at this point, including Darryl Hanah, Shay Sights, Kianna Dior, Lacey Duvalle, and Bridgette B....these are women that I would give 9's and 10's to without hesitation...I have also, however, seen a few normal GFE's here in NYC and I almost feel bad using their names but they are providers that have received identical if not higher ratings for both looks and performance than the ladies I just listed about...In one instance, I would have at best been able to give the provider a 6 for looks, and maybe an 8 for performance...In another case, I went to visit a girl that so many of you have rated a 10 over and over again and actually ended up needing to walk out as soon as I arrived at her location (I gave her 100 and apologized) because there is no way I would have physically enjoyed being with her. She specifically asked me on the way out, do you use TER, you won't mention this in my reviews will you?  

So, here's what I think is happening, you guys are going to meet with these women, enjoying your time, and then using the reviews in an almost masturbatory way to relive your fantasies, which is fine to a certain extent, and I get it, but, when it comes to those numbers, those rankings, why are we just dolling these 10s out like its no big deal? 10 is "Once in a Life Time"...so, how are you giving out a 10 to 25 different providers? How could they all be, once in a lifetime?  

This site has the potential to be the perfect resource for many of us to know exactly what we are getting into before we throw down hundreds or thousands of dollars and yet we are systematically destroying the potential for this by not giving more objective and honest scores to the girls we see.  

I personally have never even written a review, either because 1) I found the reviews already in existence to be fully accurate and informative (as is the case with the XXX stars) or, 2) because i felt too guilty giving a girl with all 10s a 4 and 5 or a 6 and 8....

What are we gonna do team? Because we are on the verge of completely ruining this platform. Does anyone else feel me on this?

I have, from time to time, been given shit for not posting reviews.  Some of us have the time to write reviews and the rest of us pay the way...it all goes to making the board work.

I agree with several of your comments, specifically how many 10's are given out willy-nilly.  And I too have had several experiences where the ratings and my experiences just didn't jive.  My one observation regarding the inconsistencies with ratings given:  It seems that on many occasions, the prettier and/or hotter the provider, the steeper the rating of her performance is.  I've often wondered whether others agree.... I suppose now is the time for me to finally find out.

1) it's legit and they really are deserving
2) hobbyist promises to promote her to others on Ter and increase her biz
3) hobbyist is looking for a discount on future visits
4) hobbyist is sucking up to the provider for future freebies
5) provider offers bbfs
6) hobbyist is delusional and doesn't know a 10 from an

Yes, we know the reasons and can identify a problem but is there really a solution other than PM(back channel) or actually discussing reviews specifically in the forum?

I think many of the girls I have seen are not what their ratings are cracked up to be. Not that I haven't enjoyed myself or been disgusted by staying, just not what had been hyped. I've recently returned to more activity and over the past year have had about a 50% satisfaction rate.  

So here is why I think there is grade inflation. We all have different tastes. I prefer young and thin whereas I know some like mature and cushioned. Short tall, brunette blonde, Asian white. We all have different tastes. Once a lady gets momentumn as a certain type of looker or provider, she gets a lot of play here and those that like her type go see her.  She is what they were expecting and they give her high ratings because they were satisfied. Once she becomes one of the established 9/10 girls, it is hard for the disappointed ones to rate her as they would like. The fear of being called out on the boards or by emailis not anything anyone wants to deal with. There is also the provider only board where most of us don't know what happens there. Getting referrals is also an issue.  

Unfortunately for me, I don't have the time or desire to go through the review process. I would have liked to warn my comrades here about a couple of 10/10 girls that really were 8/5s but its only my opinion and maybe they just weren't my type.

Another topic discussed ad nauseum but bottom line there are many reasons for the 10's as  Phil clearly stated and nailed on the head.....Providers need the high score for their business so they will obviously not be happy with lower scores  ( supposedly, they think that the 10's are more important than the actual session ( which is kind of weird, if you give good customer service in any business Word Of Mouth ..or in this case " Work" of mouth would be great for referal business. No advertisement necessary ). so that being the case what seems to work for me is knock the scores down a couple points and go in to the session with those expectations and you may be pleasantly surprised or at least not set up for failing to meet your expectations....most guys just don't want to deal with the bullshit of providers not liking the reviews that will knock down their averages and then having to be complained to...as for the PM thing you may want to avoid anything that would come back to bite you in the butt since this is all Fantasy anyway !!! ....  just my unintelligent opinion...
