Dear TER,



For some reason (smile), my phone started ringing off the hook with people asking about rates!  My phone girl happened upon the thread about us below, and I wanted to take this opportunity to present myself on the board and let the community know a little bit about me and Boutique!

When I first decided to become a companion, I worked for a few of the most upscale agencies in Manhattan ($1000 per hour and up), and I was literally shocked by how little the owners cared for their customers.  These places routinely used fake photos on their websites, sent girls who were physically nothing like the ones actually requested by the client, and provided no minimum standard of service in the session.  They count on the fact that their expensive marketing and flashy websites will attract new clients.  I don't say that all their customers were unhappy, but it certainly was a shot in the dark for the gentlemen.  How they managed to stay in business was, and is, a mystery to me.  

The philosophy at Boutique is very different.  I do not allow any stock photography at all, only real photos taken by my photographer at my own expense.  I am present at most of the photo shoots that take place.  I also do not airbrush the photos, except to blur out faces.  If you call asking about a particular young lady or you have a specific type and we have no one matching your request, we will simply tell you that.  At the moment, all the young ladies who are on my site are exclusive to Boutique.  Last but not least, they are all absolutely GFE!  

And now to the age old question: is it worth it?  Well, that depends on you!  I absolutely want to give all my clients a luxury experience.  But that means different things to different people.  For some, luxury is a Bentley.  For some, luxury is an Accord.  They are both great cars, but I would have very different expectations of driving each one.  The bottom line is, I would never want to hard sell anyone or have to convince anyone to use my service.  I would rather spend my time and energy taking care of my existing clients.  I feel that our reviews and photos speak for themselves.  If we are for you and you are for us, welcome and we look forward to fulfilling all your fantasies!  If not, please search on TER and find someone who is!  There are so many great options, especially some of the touring agencies who regularly send young ladies to Manhattan or Long Island.  No one should have to go without!

You speak the truth about real girls but my only recommendation is to be more discrete.  2 days after seeing Julia I received a call on my cell phone from your booker.  She said "just wanted to see whether you enjoyed your time with Julia."  I was mortified.  The way you know if someone enjoyed their expereience in this business is they call to repeat again.  You have great girls, but let us reach out to you for them, notthe other way around. Great letter ..........but

P - well written marketing letter; but please respect our intelligence.  You are way out of line with market but that is your choice.  Please, however, do not be sanctimonious about how you offer something amazing for that money.  You do not.  I have never used your agency (and I would not ordinarily do this) but you started it.  One of my friends (whose opinion I trust) used your agency.  You gave a $ off your usual for a two hour appt.  According to the report that despite great (9) reviews the girl was plain, mousey, and the service distant and cold.  Typical YMMV.  So please stop with the attitude.  If people are willing to pay your rates - bully for them and you.  But Mona Lisa and NYC Pink, two of the consistently best agencies in town - offer a lot more for a lot less.

You have made a nice post, but if you looked at the thread below, there are questions about your price range.   I could not help but notice that you say nothing about it in your post.   We all know that each provider can have a different price, but every agency has a price range.  What is yours?

Thank you for your comment about my post.  I am a little confused, though, about what you are referring to when you mention "questions about my price range".

The way I read that post, bigfan999 clearly indicates that he is familiar with our rate, which he mentions in his post using dollar signs ($).  In case that is not clear to you, let me write it out numerically.  When we opened the agency in May, our rate was $600 per hour ($$$$$$).  However, we are a very small agency, and we were getting far more requests for appointments than we could handle.  Hence the rate change to $800 ($$$$$$$$) per hour.  Bigfan999's question was not what the rate is, his issue was whether or not it is "worth it".  That is a very tired old theme; I have seen it discussed many different times in many different ways.  However, I tried to address the issue in my introductory post as well as I can.  In my humble opinion, no one can tell you if it it going to be worth it for you, only if it has been worth it for them.  The best way to go, it seems to me, is read the reviews and have a price in mind beyond which you will  not go.  For example, Julia is the second highest rated provider on TER with more than 5 reviews.  And she managed to accomplish this feat without any ostentatious promotion on the part of Boutique!  From my point of view, there is really nothing else to be said.  Her accomplishment speaks for itself.    

I realize that our price is higher than some; however, it is also lower than some.  I understand that each hobbyist has a price range within which he feels comfortable.   As I mentioned before, when I started Boutique, I had a very clear idea of the type of experience that I was trying to create for my clients.  I cannot make everyone happy all the time, but by devoting myself to a smaller staff and a smaller group of clients I hope to significantly reduce the risk of any potential slip up or mistake on our part.  There are quite a number of high volume agencies at lower prices, and even though I chose not to work with them as a provider or emulate that business model as an agency owner, I have great respect for them and the gentlemen who make use of their services.  I look forward to receiving the same courtesy from the gentlemen on this board!

I agree with Kornlover.  NY Confidential and NYC Pink do this on their sites too.  If you charge $600 an hour, then say so on your site!  If you feel you can charge that much for your hot ladies, then don't pussy foot around about it on your Website.  I may well be very happy to pay that rate for your hot babes, but I hate sites that make you have to call to get the rates.  It's almost like they're ashamed to clearly announce their rates on their sites.

I am not sure whether you understood me.   I was not complaining about your prices--I just wanted to know what they are.   As far as I am concerned, this is a personal service, and anyone can charge whatever the provider or agency thinks is appropriate.  The client can decide whether it is worth it to him!

I am sorry that you felt that my letter was sanctimonious, but what I am most sorry about is that your friend did not call to complain about the service.  I always try to do anything that I can to offer redress on the rare occasion that an appointment is unsatisfactory.  

Please tell him to call me if he is interested in a free hour; that is my standard offer in this type of situation.

Point noted- you are absolutely correct.

Penelope gave the price that their agency charges.  It was $800, from what I read.  Again, whether it is "worth it" is a matter of a person's perspective.  Apparently enough hobbyists feel that they are getting value at the price that the agency is charging.
    Penelope made a good observation.  There are agencies which charge less around, and in my opinion, many of them are very good to excellent.  No one is twisting the arm of a hobbyist to pay Penelope's agency rate.  Participation in this hobby and how we participate is a matter of free will.
