Each woman likes things a little differently. Let her know your willing to take take direction if you really want to get it right. Also, the clit is not the only sensitive area, the area around it is as well.

don't waste too much time anywhere other than the clit

apply whole of tongue to said clit as much as possible

persevere ... this all takes time ... be patient!

It usually takes women longer to get aroused.  Tease alot before plunging in.  Lick the inner thighs, lick around the lips, tease.  When you finally get to the clit use a hard tongue.
