OK, I've been around but had been off the radar for a few years. I'm just coming back and I'm on P411 but have no references. So I look like a newbie and I'm stuck. Chicken and egg, right?
So I followed the suggestions, set up a date with a newbie friendly. I had an appointment with , let's call her Lilian, last thursday at 2PM in Manhattan. At 11:30 I get a text saying she was sick, but offered to have a friend Let's say Deedee stand in. I was reluctant, because it was not the same kind of girl, but she persuaded me and her friend texted me and I said OK.
Of course, I get to the 2 call location and text. No answer. Text again. No answer. Call the girl after she is 20 minutes late. She says "I'm leaving right now from Astoria in Queens". Not nice but OK. I wait another 25 minutes and call her back. She hasn't left yet. It's been over an hour and I can't waste all afternoon so I cancel. Lilian hasn't called me back.
For this week I had set up an appointment for today at 4PM with a pretty well reviewed visitor arriving from the west coast. Let's call her Zoey. She seemed a little more professional than the last. At 1PM I get a email from Zoey saying she caught a virus and she can't make the date. Maybe sometime in October.
So is this just a bad run or am I doing something wrong? Do I smell like LE? At fifty-exx am I just old for some providers? Or are providers uptrading bookings at the last moment? Is this normal practice now? Should I be playing Airplane rules, double booking and just cancelling one when one shows up? That seems like a pretty whorish way to run a business.
Anyway your thoughts appreciated.
