Second, in response to yours, he didn't specify anything like that. Also how do you know that that your description fits the info on the site I linked? If you have such first-hand info, or access to it, by all means please say so.
Actually I doubt anyone here has first-hand info on this -- but from what I understand, the info on that site is at least plausible and I have seen similar accounts from several sources. And it's as good a place to start as any.
Again, if you or anyone else has better info, by all means share it, but if you don't have anything more than what I posted, well why criticize it

All I'm asking is that before posting something, can folks please do a little homework and include what they found. For example if the OP had read, "I did a google search and found X, is this accurate and can anyone can add to it" and included the link, I wouldn't have said anything.
That kind of post helps us help someone much more easily, and also adds info to what we have here, thus making this board more informative.

I am sorry for the bad post. Iv am not new to the hobby but this is the first time i used the boards and was not sure how specific i should get. I will do a better job next time i post. Thanks for all the advice.

I've been to Punta Cana, DR 5 times. My first vacation there I purchased through Orbitz. Not such a great idea. I did not like the resort. The remaining visits I went through my travel agent, who sent me to The Grand Iberostar. They have an all adult resort, as well as a family resort. Most resorts have 3 different sections ( silver, gold and platinum). Platinum allows you to travel to the other sections on the resort and is usually designated for the adults only. This particular resort provides you with your own personal butler and the food is awesome!
Now if you mean adult resort in terms of going nude or being able to have sex in public, you may want to visit Jamaica. Now they have some serious adult resorts.
I suggest you contact a travel agent who will be able to personally accommodate you with the important things you want on your trip. I know you will have fun in DR. Just make sure you stay on the resort. It's not a place you want to go out on your own for site seeing. The have bus companies that can take you to some of there popular attractions.
