Providers playing music

Any one else get get annoyed at club or some sensual music playing the moment you get to a providers web site, I don't get? I can't tell you how many times I literarily jump and start stabbing with my finger on the volume in the middle of the night. It doesn't add to the experience just takes away in my opinion.

Indeed, many of us need to be safe and discreet with our surfing.  I don't why web designers think that this is like shopping for a book on amazon or reading the news on yahoo.  WAKE UP!!  THIS AIN'T DISNEY!

And to continue my rant: NO FLASH! NO SCRIPTS! Keep things simple, safe and FAST (no mega-pixel giant images to freeze up while loading).

Best suggestion: Have three options on your Welcome Page:

Click here for plain [HTML] version. Click here for [MOBILE] version. Click here for [FLASH] version

Yet this is something you'll never escape.  And you really can't blame the ladies when they're trying to put their best foot forward.

If the music bothers you, maybe you should think ahead and turn off the volume before you start visiting ladies' websites...

..for the very first time, and don't know enough to turn off my speakers?

Music on provider websites is horrible--I've never understood it.

I don't know why Flash is necessary either--but if it must be there, then Yeah, a no-Flash or mobile version should be there ahead of the welcome page.

Really great sexy jazz playing softly in the background?  I'm a big fan of French jazz and artists like pink martini, Nina Simone, Melodie gardot, et al....

Some guys are at work. Some guys are at home. Some guys are ... maybe some guys are using their lap tops at Starbucks.  NO MUSIC!  NO FLASH!  NO CRAP THAT CAN GET US IN TROUBLE or leave a trail on the home or work computer.

Don't you get it?!?!

Oh thought you were talking about during an appt....sorry....

choose to put something on their website that would make someone click out right away? Sometimes even large nude body shots on an entrance can be indiscreet. Nice to look at but not when someone you work with might walk by behind you...

I'd say give options- a "play" button that gents can click on to hear your music if they want, and save the sexier photos for the gallery page. That way nobody gets put in an indelicate situation without their knowledge.

The provider should go by the old adage 'the customer is always right.' No excuse to play music until THE HOBBIEST requested it, and at the volume requested.

Some of you have zero clue about discretion in hotels and when you come, you sound like a fkin ogre who just got his foot caught in a lawn moyer. That's the reason for music and other background noises...YOU!

you to plug in earbuds, just leave them plugged in all the time. Then if you hit a site with music, it isn't blasting throughout your abode, place of work, etc.
