I just got the notification that my VIP is going to expire.  I haven't been hobbying much lately (for good reasons, not bad) but with the US reviews gone, and needing to use a VPN to access the site anyway, I'm not going to renew.  I will probably pop into the forum every now and again to see if there are M&G's or anything like that, but without VIP I think my access to messages will be gone.

I'll still be around on some other sites with the same ID as always.  I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you.  My first review was 16 years ago and I was probably on the site for at least several months before that.  Let's call it 17 years.  And it's been an amazing 17 years.  I've loved (both physically and platonically) many of the people I've met on this site.  From back in the days where we'd gather in the chat room all day, to Miki's regular M&G's and every other party that followed. Whenever I would travel I'd check the site. I've been to M&G's all over the country (God I miss those Vegas parties).  

There have been a few assholes on this board, but for the most part, the people I've met have been wonderful.  I hope to still see you online or maybe at the M&G I may still attend.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you both to the site and to all the people here.

Yeah, it's been great.

My VIP is set to expire in about three weeks, and once gone, there goes access to reviews, and the PM system.  Reading board posts, and commenting, will still be possible, and I've heard that writing new reviews still gets you free VIP days, albeit only with ladies outside the USA (which includes those who've recently "relocated").

So, I'm in the same boat as to continuing membership here.  I've been around "only" fourteen years, but remember many of the same experiences as you.  The chat room, Miki's parties, TBM's and Octavia's M&G's, Vegas, Foxwoods, Toni's parties in Florida and elsewhere...it's been a great ride.  Once my VIP runs out, I won't be retiring, but will be losing the most (by far) valuable resource I've had in the hobby since the beginning.  But it's not all bad...my connections with my beloved ATF's are not dependent on staying connected here, and I somehow think I'll still be able to hear about upcoming M&G's.  Outside of visiting with the ladies, these are the most fun part of this game, and the one we attended in NYC last night was on par with the best of them.  

So, it won't be the end.  Not for me, at least.

It was a hell of a run for the past fourteen years, though, and TER was always my main goto source.  Thanks for everything!   Those that wish to contact me can do so at [email protected].  I can no longer access the PM system.  Nor can I check reviews, so this site now no longer has value worth paying for anyway.    But, I am still in the game...

Those ladies I developed friendships with over the years are special.  You know where and how to contact me, and vice versa.  Good luck and best wishes to everyone moving forward.
