Hi everyone,

Having been here in NYC for about a month, I'm always in Manhattan. Relatively new in town, I'm not really familiar with places nearby. Is Queens a good place to work in or not?

Any advice about that? Thank u very much:):):

will do outcall there.

But most of the providers of advertise on TER are working in  Manhattan.

The Queens and Long Island market is definitely under served
Plenty  of good locations iMHO

Of neighborhoods... each.  Astoria/LIC in Queens is like Mars to people from Queens Village, Rockaway or Howard Beach.  Just like Gravesend is completely different than Bay Ridge or Bensonhurst,  never mind Williamsburg vs. Flatbush in Brooklyn.

Long Island, broken up into Nassau and Suffolk counties include South Shore towns as Cold Spring Harbor or Mutton town on the rich North Shore down to seedy Hempstead on the South Shore.  With a dozen town in between.  Suffolk is much the same, with Babylon, Huntington, oon the South and North shores as great little towns and less great towns like Wyandanch in between... and that's just the West end of Suffolk!  On the East end you have the Hamptons on the Southeast and many other towns including Greenport and Orient Point on the North.

High population centers mean a lot of business, I'd look at areas in Queens like Astoria (right across the river from Manhattan with a large yuppie population with cash to burn) also Huntington on Long Island for the same reason.
