If you were lucky enough to be unaffected by the storm and are looking for ways to help, you can volunteer with NY based organizations like City Harvest and New York Cares. They are always looking for volunteers - I spent this weekend collecting food donations and doing a bit of cleanup. Of course if you don't enjoy charity work, sending these groups a dollar or two can be good for your karma. =)
