THE FOLLOWING IS A CONSOLIDATED EXCERPT OF AN ARTICLE APPEARING IN THE NEWSDAY LONG ISLAND NEWSPAPER OF  DECEMBER 13, 2013, PAGE A 13, COLS 4-5

The prosecution of 104 men arrested earlier this year in Nassau County for patronizing prostitutes in a “Flush the Johns” sting suffered two more setbacks this week when a Judge found one man not guilty after a non jury trial  and dismissed the charges against another man in the interest of justice. In that case the Judge was especially critical of prosecutors for a mistake that erroneously charged the defendant with a felony for soliciting a minor for sex. The judge dismissed all charges against that man,  an attorney, and gave prosecutors and the police until February 28, 2014 to purge his record from the state criminal database. “The defendant has been subjected to humiliation, placed on public display, suspended from work and has suffered disruption within his family and community on the basis in part of an erroneous felony charge with serious implications”, the judge wrote.
All 104 were initially charged with patronizing a prostitute in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor, the District Attorney Rice said in June in announcing that the results of a sting in April and May that she labeled “Flush the Johns”. Only six of the 104 men charged have been convicted. Three more were dismissed for lack of evidence and the court spokesman said there are 97 cases still pending where promoting prostitution is the top charge. The cases are spread out among seven district court judges, he said

It;s about embarrassing and ruining peoples lives.  Once you are charged and humiliated publicly and to your family the court case means nothing.  The personal damage is worse and thats all these hypocritical assholes care about.  Meanwhile they go out cheat on their wives spend money in a bar to get some bar fly drunk to take home......

I don't think they realize that it embarrasses the wives and kids as much as the johns. They might as well hang a sign on the wife that says "I fail to completely sexually satisfy my husband," because that's often the public perception in the neighborhood.

HI- I am brand new to this, my main concern is not getting caught in a reverse sting.
I am going with a well-reviewed provider, website, etc. but visiting in her hotel and
concerned that the employees know what is going on, etc. Thank you. I would like
to here from some experienced people on what to be concerned about. She is
willing to review me from just my name/company/age, and not call my office.
It seems to me that is reasonable as we are all so available on the internet. She will
then check my id when I visit her

This is just my opinion, but if you're giving anyone your company information, I would hardly call that reasonable. You should explore P411 or some other verification site.  I value my job way too much.  That question crosses the line, but everyone values their job differently I guess.

You should never ever give your real name or show ID or reveal any work information. As another poster recommended go get P411 subscription and find some newbie friendly providers on there.  If you share any personal information that can identify you in real life, you will regret it dearly down the road.

I couldn't agree more and it amazes me you need to even say that. I laugh hysterically when I see providers asking that question on a contact form. Do guys really really put their careers and the security of their families at risk like that?  I know of one horror story in Dallas a few years ago where where employment info given to a provider fell into the wrong hands (the provider's sister, who was outraged at what her sister was doing) and she sent an "anonymous" letter to the client's employer. Stick with the verification services. Please.

First of all, thank you both,
I thought that I have to show my real ID when they meet me?
I thought the whole point of P411 was to allow them to make sure
they can match my real id with the P411- please elaborate on how
it works (and thank you for this very helpful service). I certainly
want to remain anonymous.  Additionally, A provider with a few reviews,
who I emailed told me that P411 won't be enough and she wanted to
know my age, city, name. I declined.

Pick a super well known lady with TONS of reviews. Someone who has been on TER for many years.

Make an appointment with her, provide all the screening information she needs to meet you.

Once you have been with this lady few times, ask her if she is willing to provide references for the ladies you might want to meet in the future.

Make sure you pick a lady who is reference friendly (some girls out there never give references, are afraid to lose clients).

I have lots of longtime TER clients and I was the first lady they saw. I did screen them properly and gave them a nickname.

When they see other ladies, they used me as reference and do not provide any personal information to them because I am well known and well reviewed. Most ladies have no problems accepting a referral coming from me.

The thing is, you might have to visit 2 or 3 well known ladies first because some providers ask for 2 referrals in lieu of personal information (I know girls asking for 3 solid referrals).

P411 is a good verification site but, to get approved there you will NEED couple legit and established providers to vouch for you.

If you book as I suggest, then you can use the well known ladies references to book with other ladies and also to apply for P411.

P411 or White Listing are just tools used for the screening process and many ladies will NOT accept just that coming from a guy who is a newbie or doesn't have a solid profile & reviews under his belt.

I hope this help you out.

P411, Date Check, and WhiteList are great and have proved a huge help in speeding the screening process.  There are plenty of well reviewed providers who accept them without question.  That said, some will not accept them on face value.  One lady I saw still checked some of those references as there as an LE sting in another state a while ago where an under cover cop infiltrated p411, got a few OKs and then used them to set up dates with other providers and bust them.  Undercover Provider is right, be prepared to have some ladies serve as a reference.

If you are uncomfortable giving out personal or employment info, then don't and move on.  I am pretty uncomfortable with it myself hence the p411 account, whitelists and references if needed now.

NEVER give out your real name or employment info to a provider. It's as simple as that. You can't control the info once it's out there. If a provider asks for YOUR real name, definitely make sure you get hers.

First of all, thank everyone for their thoughtful responses, it is extremely helpful.
I was under the (what seems to be an incredibly newbie mistaken impression) that I had to
show my ID "at the door" to every provider.

My question is this, what ID do I give to preferred 411? From my understanding,
every provider will have my real first name and, let's say the last 4 of my driver license.
(I thought-thank you again TER- the reason was that I had to show my ID and the provider could than match me to my online profile). Are any of the verification services more discreet? Are any more
accepted to the providers?

I assume if a provider get's caught, that the authorities could easily search and find me
thru my P411 ID, and the whole point is to prevent that.

(Why)does P411 require my real first name, because once they talk to the real me
or find me on the internet/home/work, I am going to be anonymous to everyone or
at least most of the providers anyway. Thank you again!

(As a suggestion to TER, what about a "protecting your identity best practices"
section with a few different guidelines and a step by step guide.)
