during the mid to late morning and early afternoon.  It's my only time to play

Wednesday usually works out best for me personally. It's the perfect day to break up the week, usually don't have too many social commitments (or work events) and breaks up my days at the gym. 5-6pm are the golden hours for me to steal a photography term.

There really is no better way to start the day than a morning session. I have found it makes me more productive the rest of the day, hell, next 2 days! HMMM... Are you planning any morning events?

Everyone has their own availability.  Personally, I am rarely available on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

As a general rule, immediately after work is usually better for me, because I can skip out of work and tell the wife I am working late.  That's the getaway with the least hassle

That being said, this hobbyist tends to play during the week, with a strong preference for evenings.  As for M&G's, Thursday night is usually the night during the week that M&G's are held here in NYC.  For many of us, that night of the week works best, at least here.  Daytime M&G's will preclude many of us from partaking, as we have day gigs that are impossible to get away from.
