These by the hour accommodations are quite common in Japan even in rural areas, but I never knew they existed in New York City o_O (granted I only moved here in the last couple years)... but apparently there is only one left

I guess you can't beat $60 for 2 hours but you would also have to consider everyone knows what you are doing there. Checking in with the concierge who is behind a bullet proof window may not put you in the mood. Nevertheless the idea is great, this place is the only one left of it's kind. Since the neighborhood has changed maybe it is not as bad as it once was...I still would have my concerns... any other thoughts?????

Ahh... good point.

But I've never heard of these outside of Japan, so I was just surprised ;)

To me these might be more useful for frisky teenagers lol
