I'll tell you why....

I've known a number of providers pretty well and the reason most don't like LI compared to NYC is the higher perceived risk, and endless hours of boredom waiting in some dank hotel in a remote town in the middle of nowhere! This leaves opportunity for less, shall we say "qualified" ladies to take advantage of the opportunities in long island. Rarely did I ever hear that a trip to the Island was profitable (I don't mean Greek Islands either).

Also, Manhattan is packed with horny dudes who have a very high disposable income, virtually complete anonymity in the copious number of hotels, and easy transportation access for about 20 million potential customers.

Sorry I don't mean to offend anyone, but I'm just calling it like I see it.

You should contact the provider in which you are interested and ask her if she would travel I do

especially because the LIRR goes everywhere. Then the ladie may take the time to advertise in your town etc. and build a clientelle. You just have to take into consideration that most NYC ladies dont have cars so to locate a place that's clos to the train.

I always see women advertising for places like White Plains and Stamford. I guess there is less competition up there. Some men work in the city, but commute home to live in the suburbs. Obviously many men work and live up there too. I am sure there is unmet demand. Plus these smaller cities have some transportation options available like Metro North, local bus service or rental cars.

If I were a provider I would give Stamford a try. It sounds like a decent market because of all of the banks and hedge funds in the area and there is Greenwich nearby too. Greenwich is one of the wealthiest zip codes in America. You also have Darien, Wesport, Rowayton, Ridgefield, New Canaan, North Salem, Bedford, Pound Ridge etc close by. These are all very wealthy areas. IMO Stamford is definitely a niche market with potential.

I searched the 516 area code for providers with an average score of 8.0 and above. It looks like you have some real top talent out there already.

Long Island is tough.  No doubt about it.  And the recent Gilgo Beach news story that made national headlines didn't help things either.

I've been hobbying on Long Island for over 15 years and have met some exceptional women out there.  But having said that, in recent years I've disappointed with the experiences I've been having.  I thought it was just a run of bad luck but it sounds like you and some others may have been noticing the same thing.  I was especially disappointed this past summer, as that is a time that the whole area is generally flooded with travelling providers.  That didn't seem to be the case this year...

Some women I have met recently who frequent long island tell me that they don't like NYC anymore because the market is too saturated (as it were) and they don't get very many calls when they travel there.  However, interestingly, some others tell me they wont be returning to Long Island because it is just too slow.  I really don't know why it's great for some and not for others.  

Regardless, probably like you, I try to keep my eyes open and continue to do my homework.

Manhasset, Plandome, Greenvale and Shelter Rock( Aera ) are places in LI where I'm willing to do Outcall and Incall with a 2 hr minimum.

Also, I love Stamford and am willing to go there for Outcall and 2 hr Minimum Incalls.
