I think we all have had a bad session or two. Even doing everything right doing your homework sometimes the women just isn't what you were hoping for. Those are also the types of reviews I don't like writing about either along with the ladies who specifically ask me not to write a review. I always thought I was an easy hobbyist do whatever you want no special request etc etc I guess there is no such thing as simple or easy in this world.
Now that some time has passed I want to bring this up. I pride myself on being honest and forthright with everyone I come across. I lied to a follow hobbiest three months ago who I don't know that a provider was good via back channel. This is a high end girl who is in the NY top 100. Truth of the matter was the provider was not a good experience and I wouldn't recommend her. I told him what he wanted to know in regards to services provided. Guy ends up seeing this girl and has a much better experience than me. He thanks me profusely as it was the best session he has had. The girl also thanks me because she knows I sent him to her. Girl has no clue I don't like her guy has no clue I lied to him. Pretty ugly if you ask me. Why did I lie you ask who am I to physically deny any provider a session who any client might have been on the fence to see? Everyone has a different experience and two interactions are never the same. Happy he had a good time.
My question is
Does anyone ever get the honest truth in this hobby or is it just a bunch of small lies here and there.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Enjoy your Monday.
but does that mean that of your many 10's in your reviews, maybe they were 8's or another rating? I have found that when sending a PM to another reviewer asking about his review or impression, I've gotten back a very trustworthy response, and, have done the same in return many times.
I didn't write a review on her. He just asked me what do you know about name provider I saw her but didn't write a review and went from there.
Your posts are the absolute best thing about TER. I wouldn't be here without them
Thanks
...I have had a few less-than-great experiences with providers. Typically, I don't post reviews of those. I only post reviews of providers with whom I've had "ymmv" experiences or better. The sessions that don't go well...well, I don't review them. I guess I don't want the word to get out to the community that I may be a "difficult" hobbyist.
Does that make untrustworthy?

i agree. i always feel like i'm pretty easy going as well. it's interesting that even in p4p, chemistry is still very much a factor (maybe the most important one)...
I hear you...I've had some less than stellar experiences; I typically don't review people I had a less-than-awesome experience with if the problem was just chemistry/general awkwardness/etc. In other words, as long as it wasn't a b&s or the provider blatantly misrepresented their services/time, I try to keep mum. Just because "we" didn't work out as a great session doesn't necessarily mean that the provider isn't a good one.
That being said, if someone asks me directly if [X] is a good provider, I'll give a fair an honest synopsis if I didn't post a review.
I don't want to be an ass in an industry that is tough in one of the toughest towns out there (regardless of which industry you're in!).
when I ask someone to give me feedback on a woman. I look for guys who have seen a woman I want to see, and has already seen someone I have as well. I get great info this way, and can better judge of she and I will connect.
Sometimes it comes down to two personalities not matching very well; sometimes the provider is in the wrong, or the hobbyist. Either way, I don't believe you should feel guilty for lying, especially considering he ended up having a great session!
In the end, escorts who do not provide consistently good service will be put out of business, in one way or the other. When it comes to providers who require references, the same goes for hobbyists.
