Dont bite the hand who feeds you. Take the advise and deal. I did! Im glad someone knows what the hell is going on in this f up world!
For those I gave the UserID joliecantrell for my website, please email me for the new password. I changed it because it is the one I gave to this guy who scared me today.
Yesterday, a guy scheduled via email. Called this morning confirmed (witheld #, which is fine, I understand that), emailed him the room # hours ahead of time, he showed up thirty minutes early, called from lobby, confirmed room #, wanted to come right up but said five minutes would be OK, after chatting a minute with him, told him I did not feel comfortable and how about we go get a drink, he was reluctant saying he had to go be back somewhere by 16:30, the appointment was for 15:30, he called about fifteen minutes later, I did not answer, knocked on the door two different times, I did not answer, the second time he tried opening the door first, and then I called security scared to death feeling inside. Nothing came of it, security checked on me (made them show me id through the peep hole). I told front desk when I called that someone is knocking on my door and tried to open it and that I was scared. He used a term during our short conversation that sent red flags up for me. Then his lack of wanting to go out in public with me for a drink told me something also.
Did I do the correct thing?
His email address is all that I have. He is one that gets a return receipt for when an email is read by his receipient. He can change the email address very easily. Just use a new one. He probably does this often. I think he is most likely a robber, abuser, a Rip Off Artist, or of that sort. Since security came to my door concerned and looked around for me, feel he is not on the other side of the law.

I hung up with him initially telling him that I would be down in about ten minutes (I was not ready for him yet) for us to go and get a drink. He said since he had to be back somewhere... that he was not sure I would want to do that. I told him I would be down in about ten minutes and that I would see him down there. Then we hung up and I did not go down to the lobby. Feel that I did the right thing.
Honestly, I don't know what term he used during your conversation that raised your red flag. But many guys don't want to be seen in public with providers, that's normal. Also many guys have tight schedule so they need to get down to business and cut the BS chit chat stuff. You gave him the room #, and then you didn't bothered to go down stair to meet him, or call him to cancel. Of course he's going to go up stair and knock on your door (or even try to twist the door knob and see what's the deal was). I bet he's probably thinking that you are a no show and waste of his time, while you are thinking he's a robber or scam artist. Anyway, from what I read in your story, I think you over reacted. But it's better to be safe than sorry. Always go with your instinct first. Good luck.
I think you should always go with your instinct first but you should always have more than just an email address to confirm clients.
Always be safer than sorry.
If anybody I have never met twisted my door knob then
I would twist that door knob up his you know what.
Badabing!
the right thing by going with your gut, but It's obvious Jolie that you need to screen better!!!!
The very least you should have asked for is a contact number and a minimum of two referrals. Meeting someone for a drink is not the best way to do this since time is usually an issue. Unless it was prearranged, I doubt the nice guys are going to appreciate the last minute inconvience.
These particular nuts look for girls who dont screen. You are putting yourself in a very high risk situation. I am glad you were able to get rid of him. Though it would have been in your best interest to screen him and perhaps book the appointment in advance. I do think your instincts were correct but next time dont wait until the last minute to check someone out.
A friend of mine went indy a few years back. A lunatic made an appointment and stabbed her during the session. She never asked him for any info. Only asked what time he was coming. She is still alive but it was a close call.
You really should know who youre giving your room # to. How many times are girls killed because they didnt take time to get this crucial information? You should know their first and last name, contact # and referrals. I ask for that and where they work and Im able to check everything because I book new people in advance.
Now maybe Im asking for more then most, but my girls are always safe. An ideal situation for a killer/rapist/robber is a working girl who doesnt ask the right questions before the appt is made.
Because the girls who dont take time to screen their clients are easy targets.
Be smart and get as much info as you can. You have to screen these guys if you want to be safe. Remember these particular men look for girls who dont screen. Good Luck, Alyssa

Oh that is crazy. She was stabbed? omg. That's terrible. I am glad that she is safe. I was just telling the guys on the general discussion board that I was thinking of hiring a driver for security reasons because a girl that worked with me was jumped when two other guys jumped out the closet instead of the one she made an appointment with. The guy she screened was the owner of the builder she did incalls in. They talked for months and she knew all about him except that he was a scumbag. Screening is absolutely necessary.

Any time you feel that your safety might be compromised, it's better to err on the side of caution.
There have been too many stories recently about the dangers of this business.
Learning to trust that 'sixth' sense is crucial.
I'm glad you're okay!
Absolute right thing to do. Actually, I've done just the opposite with outcalls here on Long Island. I received word that the owner of an agency that recently went under (LE) was cooperating with LE for a lighter sentence. They were trying to also snare hobbyists "in the act". She (agency owner) apparently had drugs when they arrested her and was more than willing to open up the books for "The Man" to help herself out. She was able to get 5 well known people pinched as well as her drug supplier.
So bottom line, from all sides, if you're not totally comfy, JET!!!
