You may be new to the hobby but I'm not, and in my early days I made a lot of similar posts to yours, and finally one of the established members here enlightened me.  

Reviews show that you're bona fide, and not a crazy weirdo or something else, and they also show that you share information rather than just taking it.

And FYI, the two "helpful responses" you got are from an agency shilling for its own providers and one of the most controversial members of this board, who's also a major shill among other things.  

I think you'll find you're just as well off, probably much better so, with your own findings and experiences than the recommendations you got from these posters.
