Yes, sadly Saint Venus Club has been closed for a number of years now. There is Hot Spot NYC / Masked Nights which moves around is jointly run by two different organizers. The Hot Spot is run by a legacy SVT guy. It is nowhere near as great, but the few times I went over the past year I've had success. Google those and get on the mailing lists. You need to be on the lists to know the location, and they check that you got e-mails to let you in.
The Lido Room, haven't been in over a year, was not good. Those are the only ones I know about right now. I loved SVT - it was the best.

I remember the floating clubs or pop-up clubs before 2015 or so. Around that time, one of the club owners gave a detailed interview in one of the tabloids (Post ? News ?). The next thing you know, he was caught and shut down! . I think that floating clubs, pop-up clubs, or underground clubs are a thing of the past. Or VERY underground.
