While I prefer an Indy over an agency, a reputable reliable agency such as Aphrodites and Belle De Jour are as safe if not safer than an Indy might be. Don’t confuse the brothels like Jerrys Place, Available Pink, Asian massage parlors and the like. They are truly risky as they are often watched over by LE. Agency incalls are generally one on one in a hotel room where LE would have real difficulty in getting a Judge to sign a Warrant as compared to the ease in obtaining such a Warrant against the brothels. I will never forget the day that the infamous Julies brothels(all four of her incall locations) were simultaneously raided by both the FBI and the NYCPD. All of its occupants were taken to jail and although the Johns were released shortly thereafter, they were arrested and booked. The escorts were confined for many days and sometimes weeks before bail was raised and the young men working there were incarcerated for several months. Julie Moya herself was imprisoned for several years.
Agency's are easy to schedule on short notice and less likely to be cancelled as frequently occur with an Indy, particularly the touring Indy's who frequently cancel due to difficulties in travel, high hotel charges, etc. With an agency, you make the appointment within hours of the visit and you are less likely to be baited and switched as frequently occurs with Indy's who are not TER reviewed. So in conclusion, I try to limit my hobbying with TER reviewed Indy's and the reputable agency providers. To spice things up, I occassionally TOFTT. Here's an oldy but goody picture FYVP.
