Question for Staff re rules

Last night a bunch of us ladies who post here (I won't say who they are, if they want to it's up to them)  we were at one of the girls' homes, the owner of the home had her lap top out and said it was ok to use. I made a reply post post on TER using my login.

She was concerned that that was against the rules and I explained to MY understanding had I made an add post for her THEN I'd be violating rules.

THIRSTY, if you have time from what I can only imagine is a crazy stream of e-mails and pm's could you clarify this?

Again if the other girls want to say who they are it's up to them, not my right to discuss peronal stuff re another person unless they choose it to be known.

p.s. If I did do something wrong I alone am the one thats to blame and the person who's IP you know who's house I was at has no wrong doing at all. If I am incorrect then I'm sorry and I hope a spanking is good enough as punishment, also if I did do something wrong now that I know it will never happen again, but first lets hear your answer.

The whole deal with a specific computer is that it can help
track TER identities IF some sort of identity fraud is
suspected.  If many TER handles (clients) are posting reviews
from the same computer that's a red flag.  Also, if a provider
and a client TER handle are coming from the same computer that
is a HUGE red flag.

Of course moderators do not have access to any of this info.
Certain non-moderator staff have access to this info - the
TER software (like most software) logs activity which can be
searched at a later date.  Think surveillance camera at your
local store.

In your case, I'm assuming each of you has a unique well known
TER handle and is only posting their own messages.  There's
nothing wrong with that.  Having said that, though, I would
refrain from doing it.  If something related to any one of the
TER handles using that computer were to come up all handles
would be tainted by association.  Why take the risk?

Samantha,

First let me say....

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER let a client post a message or a review from your computer. I'll bet that is the #1 reason why providers get banned from TER.

While letting others post from your computer may not get you banned, I suspect that it would certainly make Staff take notice if it came to his attention. On the other hand, I'm sure there are many cases where providers who post on TER are roommates and share a computer. In a case such as this, you would probably only raise a red flag if two providers did something like post in the same thread under different usernames from the same computer.

If you did something wrong here, I would notice. I SEE EVERYTHING! ;)
