When you will get a room in an upscale hotel, we will happily visit you there. Otherwise, be confident and walk in like you are staying there (even for an hour). Problem solved.
It has nothing to do with entering the room, its about noise and distraction. I happen to know a number of women who specifically book rooms at the end of the hallways for privacy purposes, something I appreciate. So after an experience last week when a very noisy elevator bay was a distraction for me, I just thought I would throw that suggestion out there. Personally I always make such a request due to the amount of noise that happens in such areas late at night by drunken guests, and I don't care for my sleep being interrupted.
I forgot what a petty and short-tempered, "go fuck yourself buddy" place this board can be sometimes.
I know it makes sense, but how is a a provider supposed to make sure this happens upfront instead of having to go back down and then change her room? I suppose she could always to be away from the elevator, but this is the first time I have ever seen someone complain about this so vehemently.
The suggestion is one thing. The tone of your original post seemed extremely annoyed. Sorry if that's not how you meant it.
