And I agree it's boring to keep reading the same stuff over and over again.  But that's because new people are continually coming here to educate themselves.  That's natural.  So what I do is avoid reading posts that are obviously re-treads, and avoid posters who don't add much to the discussion.  Both are reasons why I read fewer threads, and post much less than I did a couple of years ago.  That, and the fact that many of the people I respected here have moved on for various reasons.  Yet I still find TER useful and, once in a while, interesting.
