I have had the pleasure of meeting another traveling provider several times this week who does not have a laptop with her. She encountered a bad apple in the Big Apple yesterday and asked me to get the word out.

I almost had a run in with this fellow because he can be verified (except he has a bad attitude!) but once in your room he is dangerous. It so saddens me to play the messenger because I have really adore the gents in NYC (they are the best!) and it is too bad that this guy has to be dangerous and taint my perception. But then again, there are good and bad people all over the world.
Just as we hobbyists rely on each other to get the word out that a provider is a "rip-off", so, too, we would want to help you providers "nail" someone who is giving us hobbyists a black eye. We know that we are "paying" for this clown in tighter security and giving up verifiable numbers--a real risk---to prove our bona fides.
One way would be to verify by asking for our screen names on TER and then asking what providers we have seen. Tell us what this guy looks like so that we can spread the word. Seriously--we zero out provider rip-offs, we'll help shut down this clown.
