Did any hobbyists or providers get infected with the Coronavirus?

With all the commotion that's been going on, I'm wondering if any hobbyists or providers were infected with the coronavirus over the past few months.

I took a break during the height of the pandemic but am back to work.  Still curious if anyone, hobbyist or provider got the virus.

Stay healthy everyone!

would start sharing this info here with you ..

But yes, I am curious too...

I''m not looking for anyone to be "outted," I'm just curious if it's happened since this is the opposite of social distancing and wondering whether its really safe to see clients.

Its safe IMO just that many providers are not seeing any new clients

There is a long history of data driven infectious disease that is more reliable than anecdotal evidence. For diseases like COVID-19, prolonged proximity in enclosed spaces is correlated ... regardless of showering twice, no DFK, and not shaking hands.
.
To think that someone or "a friend of a friend" got COVID-19 from standing next to someone in a supermarket and NOT from having fun with someone BCD for an hour or more is wishful thinking without data to back it up (e.g., lots of testing and even comparing the strain of virus).

I know a few providers that did get the virus but not from other hobbyists.  Im sure there were a few cases of this happening esp from providers that see a lot of clients per day.

I'm sure now its not that bad as it was 4 months ago.

I was concerned at first but im not sure anymore.   It could be a long time before a vaccine is available....

The real problem is shaking the wife as my office is closed and working from home doesnt present a lot of opportunities to go hobbying.  I always looked forward to business travel.

but vaccine will not be 100% effective...no one knows what the right antibody level is needed to be immune
