Pretty obvious who you are referring to. Begging for glowing reviews is sad.

Badgering hobbyists over honest but mediocre reviews they've written is equally sad. Ladies scratching each other's eyes out can be amusing at times, but gets old fast. You clearly are talking about the provider in the thread started by Cease and Desist on the next page of threads.

1.  The infighting on this board on the provider side (including white knights and anti-white knights) is getting out of hand.

2.  Speaking for myself, I am rarely if ever impressed by one provider criticizing another, either on the board or BC.

3.  This may be easy for me to say (it's not my life) but IMO providers should be less obsessed about the numbers in reviews.

BTW, appearance matters but not as much as some seem to think.  Remember the old TER poll which said that 66% of hobbyists would prefer to see a 5/10 over a 10/5.

4.  As for performance ratings, they do matter, but much less so for a provider with an established reputation.  The guys on this board are smart; we know how to read between the lines in reviews and we dont pay much attention to statistical anomalies (e.g. when someone who consistently gets 8 gets a 6).

5.  If anyone is pressuring their clients to give higher ratings, please cut it out.  It will hurt you in the long run.

6.  I respect the right of providers to challenge and seek removal of false reviews esp when the falsity is serious (e.g., Vanessa's recent complaint).  But I also think that shit happens, that lots of hobbyists exaggerate in reviews both positively and negatively, and that there is not much that can be done about that.

7.  Don't forget that some hobbyists like me are ultimately YMMV types who look for special connections and are not overly impressed by the hottest babe of the moment.

8.  The whole point of this hobby is adult enjoyment and mutual satisfaction.  Let's have fun out there.

reading and re-reading it makes more and more sense.
support and cooperate within and amongst itself and its members; both provider and hobbyist alike!
When that happens things work real well and it's been proven time and time again.

Actually, very well written.

Why dont you see me in NYC ?

I'd like to see you.

xo xo Lisa

And remember, any review below an 8 is bogus!

I dont know and I dont care whether the person whom you think I'm referring to said or did what you think she said or did.  My musings stand on their own two feet, so to speak.

If an alias is being used to attack or slander a provider, or accuse them of doing something annoying or negative, then its probibly not true at all! Why else would they wear a mask? If they were being honest with you, then they would show their real face. By showing a real face, they must back up their accusations with factual evidence. One way of knowing if a provider is behind an alias is to ask yourself "is their bitterness in this statement?" If you hear bitterness, then yes, its a provider trying to hurt another provider. If the alias is sounding like they've been taken advantage of or hurt in some way, then i probibly is a hobbyist who was burnt.
But the way to make them go away is to just ignore them. You know how you walk by the same house plant everyday, till eventually you dont see it anymore? Thats what you do with these troublemakers. If they see noone cares if they exist, then the paper mache will decompose, the wood will rot, steal will rust, felt erode....and no more masks exist.

"5.  If anyone is pressuring their clients to give higher ratings, please cut it out.  It will hurt you in the long run."

If any provider wants to try to "pressure" me into a higher rating, they are more than welcome.

In fact, I'd really appreciate some nice sucking up.  Offers from free sessions and general bribery.

It won't get you a higher rating than you deserve, but I'd still like you to try.

Miki we love ya.. hope this all stops soon.  It is very tiring...

Yes this is a good post,  Most of the ladies are saints with the amount of patience they've displayed as rant after rant goes on.
..... Moment, #9 Could be No substances.
Happy Spring!

As usual Moment, I am in near complete agreement with you.  I think I have a bit more sympathy than you've expressed for providers obsessed with their numbers.  While we choose primarily on the basis of the performance rating, providers can alter that.  What is more personal and therefore more difficult to change is the appearance rating.  I can understand that people thinking you unattractive would be painful and difficult to take.  I don't think we should ever be less than honest, but at least for myself, I feel sympathy for a provider whose self esteem has been damaged by the ratings.

You make many good points, HF.  I do have sympathy for the women who truly do their best and have haters (for whatever reason) post false reviews simply because they didn't like the lady.

But for the ladies who obsess over their appearance ratings, I have no sypathy.  If you are going to be in a business where guys will publicly discuss your body, unless you literally look like Angelina Jolie or Gisele Bunchden(sp), be prepared to hear the worst.  If you can't be truly honest with yourself, get out of this line of work.
