That first review made me want to take a break lol wtf
when a negative review pops up:
http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/showReview.asp?Review=1285948
it is almost immediately followed by a glowing one:
http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/showReview.asp?Review=1286633
this may be a ymmv issue but i am convinced that there is a high percentage of our reviewing brethren who either are incapable of writing anything negative or are just thrilled to betsy just to get a piece of poon and anything above fucking their suburban house frau is a major accomplishment

I just read that review and threw up a little in my mouth.
I just don't get it. How can anyone (men/women) show up to these appointments and not be squeaky clean? If that is not possible just take a 5 minute shower after the introductions. Ladies complain all the time about guys showing up with dingle berries hanging from their asses, but it goes both ways. Some providers do not have the common courtesy to stagger their appointments with enough time to clean up or they just don't care.
The second review was a bit transparent. It praised her by saying "She smelled fresh and clean after just coming out of the shower". I mean come on. This sounds a little coincidental, but I checked out Mel365 and it seems as though he is legit.
I thought AC was a class act and this has me re-thinking their service. I guess in the end we don’t know what really happened, but stinky people ruin it for everyone involved.
After reading that first review I need a shower. lol

One provider I see always had a strong musky odor when I went down on her. It wasn't stinky or horrible, but you couldn't get within an inch of someone after without them knowing you just went down on some chick.
Lately she has been fresh and unscented, and that's great.
It's like expecting the stock market NOT to go up. People are long stocks as a rule, so if that's the case, the stock market has a natural tendency to go up in value.
Same thing with reviews. If guys are gonna write reviews, and most providers have their screening info, what makes you think that reviews aren't gonna have a positive bias to them? For the reviewers, there is a lot more downside to writing a bad review than there is upside.
Downside: She has your personal info and can totally blacklist you. Your personal life could be ruined, you could be called at work, etc.
Upside: Some random "bros" who you don't know on this board are gonna give you "props" in the form of a "way to go" and "thanks for the review" on a board. That and five cents will get you a cup of soup.
Not saying that we shouldn't be honest, but if you honestly expect total truthfulness and not a positive spin in reviews, you just don't get it.
If you want to find out the real truth about a girl, PM guys you know, and find out through the backchannels.

Look at the upside/downside scenario again. What incentive does a guy have to write a bad review?
There is ALWAYS an incentive for it to be good. With most providers on TER screening and getting your personal info, what is your upside for writing a shitty review?
What you read is likely gonna have a positive spin to it. Or you won't hear about it at all.
Of course, there is the WK factor, but like I said, there is a positive spin on all reviews, whether it's WKs or just the propensity against writing negative reviews.
Same thing as the stock market. If everyone is naturally long, that pushes prices UP.
I have to admit I am a bit conflicted about being 100% totally honest about a provider especially if they take me around the world and have a great personality. I have spent time with one or two providers and then rated them and I have to confess that the performance was great, but the physical nature of their bodies was not what I expected. Sometimes they are not as beautiful as their airbrushed photos and that is something I can comment on especially if it is an outright lie. A few looked great, but I expected something a little more form fitting. I just could not get myself to trash something that is out of their control. I can fill in a Magnum, not that it means much these days.
I know, I know another guy talking about the size of his dick, but honestly I like to think I have a normal sized appendage. When I look around the gym locker-room I would have to say that I am doing pretty well, but in the provider world especially with the use of lube there have been a few frictionless moments. To call a provider out on a loose caboose or saggy boobs is just too harsh. I can’t be that honest and cruel to someone if they have been nice to me. I just can’t.
I can just imagine there are some people who are shaking their heads right now, but this is an adult board so let’s have an adult conversation.

A lot of interesting points here. I've never been offered a discount for a good review, although I have heard rumors of this practice, I would say this may be offered to agency regulars.
I think that in order to avoid these situations, it's important to carefully read profiles, reviews, and then examine pics closely; if it doesn't all ad up, don't make an appointment, because you will be disappointed at the least and disgusted at the most. In this case, I see she has body type "Average" well to me that means FAT and GROSS. I would never see a girl who has a body type of anything larger than "Athletic" and that makes me wonder sometimes. Also, any girl who is 5'2" and weighs 120 pounds is just plain fat; frankly I have a height/weight chart in my head. If you want confirmation just take of your cock goggles and look at her second pic.
You won't hear me publicly writing a review on a bad experience, but if you PM me or email me then you might hear about it there.
I believe in mutual respect. I had a provider in Miami who was top-rated and 9s and 10s in looks. Her body might have been that, but her face was not. It was not attractive at all, and her teeth was jacked up. But you know what? I would never write a review about her publicly, because she is a human being and a very nice one at that. Why fuck with her livelihood? I did my research, came to the wrong conclusion, and...big fucking deal. It was $500 or $600 that I spent a little poorly. But for those who saw her and liked her, great.
She didn't rip me off, she didn't misrepresent herself, etc. I made a choice I regretted, but in the end, that's on me, not on her.
I've held off commenting on any of these threads that talk about the review system. I completely agree with a lot of guys here that there is no upside to writing a bad review. You can read about the craziness girls get into, and I've heard the stories first hand as well.
I think part of what's happened is that this industry has gotten an influx of a lot of girls who need the money. They like sex, so figure why not? They come onto TER and they see a lot of women who have all these top marks. They think to themselves that unless they get them they won't see anyone so they work on ways to cheat the system.
I fully believe that the reasons the reviews are scewed are because of the actions of women, not the men here. I cringe for a guy when he makes a post about a not so bad time and people respond to write a review! I feel bad. He's doing his props to the community right there. He's saying, hey, I have info, pm me if you don't want to get stuck like I just did. But I don't blame him for not wanting to write the review.
As far as a bad review being followed by a good one... Well, yes, it could be damage control. But it could also be that the girl took the critique. I know I'll catch flack for this with people wondering about me- I had a 9-9 first review and every single one since is a 10-10. Am I coercing guys to give them to me? Absolutely NOT. PM them if you care. I've gotten a lot of emails asking if I'd give discounts for glowing reviews. I always respond that I'd rather see them full price and get the review I earn- Only one met that request and guess what? 10-10 from him too. But what I do do is take everything that a guy has told me and PUT IT INTO ACTION. For instance, in the bottom of my 9-9 review, the reviewer actually explained why I didn't get that elusive 10. He supports me by saying he knows it's possible. So what did I do? I've taken it to heart! We continued to see one another and more than once he's told me I've reached that score with him! It feels AWESOME to hear and know that. I don't forget that just like a guy could rewrite a review to make it higher, it can go the other way around as well. So even from my established friends, I listen to what they have to say. You can only get better if you internal what they say. If it's not something I can meet, that's a different story, but hey? That's why there are hundreds of other women to choose from too.
I think that if a woman is stable and reasonable enough to be in this industry and use this life in a HEALTHY way for herself, then every review, good, but especially bad, will simply make her up her game. I think that all these women who shouldn't actually be here are simply immature enough to deal with the consequence of being fairly reviewed and resort to other means to get the scores they believe they need.
I see myself creating some haters out of this and I don't care anymore. I wish there were a better way for you guys to safely review us. Where you didn't have to worry about the consequences.
And sorry alfalfa, I was mostly off topic here. I guess here publishes the first KJ semi rant. LOL. I just feel bad for you guys. We should be able to take the good and the bad without resorting to devious means.
The head with a brain in it, that is. I haven't written many reviews but it got to a point where I thought so many great reviews were total BS, that I had no choice. I've felt the need to write some brutally honest reviews before as well, especially if a girl is given all 9's and what I received was nothing close to that. You have to be smart about it though in order to avoid being harassed. Maybe wait a few days or even a week or two before posting the review. Change some of the minor details, but not the facts that warranted the bad review, etc.

I guess I'll weigh in here. I've been reviewing gals here for a long time and I've developed sort of a rule for myself. First, I almost never see a girl who doesn't have either good solid reviews or the endorsement of a great ageny booker. Consequently most of my play dates are quite positive. Second, I don't write even "average" reviews. Unless a girl is pretty damn spectacular I simply don't write a review. Now, if she's BAD, or smelly, or is an up-seller, or has limits other than those described then I will post a review. But if she's just "so-so" then I simply don't post a review. Looking back at my reviews I'm guessing I actually post on about 2/3rds of the gals I see. The balance you'll not hear about from me.
Bottom line for me --- do your research!!!!!! With TER and back-channel PM's there is almost no excuse for a less that stellar date.
Which reminds me ..... I have one tomorrow night! Lucky me!
Coach Greg
If we do our research carefully, make intelligent choices based on what other reviewers have said, how a provider comes across in her posts and website as well as your PM or email communications, most dates will be great and reviews will reflect your level of satisfaction.
10s are of course wonderful but 8s and 9s ARE really good numbers too!

First off Alfa, thanks for letting me know about this discussion.
Here is my 2 cents- The idea of a "review" is not to be good or bad, 10 or 1, the idea is to be HONEST in what transpired so the next monger can make an educated decision. Lets break it down guys, a review ratings are based on three things-
1-Appearance 2-Service 3- Value for your dollar
So if you read my review, I broke it down in the same categories. Some of you have said that I "bashed" her for the stretch marks(it is what i saw) but missed on the other 2, the lack of service and hospitality.
Here is the kicker, I went to see her based ON mel365's review, which was dated august 2012, funny thing is, after i left my review, he re-reviewed her and went on top of mine with a HIGHER rating than before, priceless.
The point remains that accuracy in a review will save another hobbyist money or he will get his money's worth. If I am spending a $1, I am expecting a mcdouble, not a steak, but if I am spending $100, I expect a filet with a nice glass of wine followed by dessert, do I make sense? Its value of $ vs the service and quality of the product, just like anywhere else.
Here is another example, lets say you always fly economy, but this particular month you got a huge bonus check so you decide to fly first/business class. You pay the top $$$, wear a nice suit, get to the airport and ready to enjoy the luxury of being served and catered for instead bumping elbows with mr.stinky. Once you enter the plane, what are you expecting? One of those large isolated seats with arm rest and tv plus a glass of champagne waiting, right? BUT what if instead you were sat next to mr.stinky and given a towel that says "first class"?? Would you feel cheated?
Moral of the story, a review should be honest and not biased, if I see a provider who is super hot but lacks in service then I give her well deserved rating in "appearance" and fair in "service", if she is not a looker but gives excellent service, then I will reverse it and so on...... but I will never mislead another monger as I dont expect to be mis-leaded either.
P.S. You guys have to give me some props for double checking the stentch
Good Luck Y'ALL, CHEERS!!
