My beloved NYC,

I have been to Philly, DC, Stamford, Hartford, Boston, and Chicago all in the month of October (yes I get around!), and I loved them all, but there is not one city that compares to this concrete jungle!

Feels good to be home!

Just wondering about peoples options on how other cities compare to NYC as far as providers and hobbyests? Any takers?

Loving NYC,

AAT

I really enjoy touring and I always make a point of leaving a day or two at the end to get out and sight-see and explore the city I'm in. But nothing makes me smile like when I'm traveling home and the New York skyline comes into view and I feel "home" again!

It's nice to be here in NYC, but it costs so much to live here, and you can get so much more for so much less in other parts of the country.

But the real off-putting thing about NYC that I find is unique to it versus other similarly-expensive cities in the world (London, for example) is that the people here actually think this is the best city in the world.  They actually call this shithole, "The greatest city in the world."  Which is insane.  NYC is essentially an upscale ghetto.  We throw garbage on the streets because we have no allies.  We live on top of each other literally, and the food here really is no better than many other parts of the country.  The Mexican food here, for example, is despicably bad.

Well, you asked...  :)

NYC is living poetry from all angles.
NYC is rich with dichotomies from beautiful and disgusting, from humbling to empowering. The list can go on and on.
I visit: Fargo ND, Vegas, Orange County CA, Des Moines IA, Minneapolis MN, Chicago IL, Madison WI and others.

Don't underestimate my love for grandeur. I happen to come from in the most beautiful part of Minnesota that is known for Superior grandeur.

Sweet kisses,
Samantha Good

Oh a side note!...I hope all my friends in NYC are safe and prepared for the Frankenstorm. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone's safety.

Have I done something to offend you?

Please tell me, because I have no interest in getting into pissing wars with people on this board.  You won't always get along with everyone, but at every turn, you make it an issue with me.  What the fuck did I do wrong to you?

NYC is segregated and I won't deny that, but even blue bloods living up on Park Ave and the 60s through 70s will come into contact with crazy schizo heroin addicted bums when they walk down the sidewalk. All strata of society mixes a little bit even if it is only for a few seconds.

I enjoy the anonymity of disappearing into the herd too,

J

I think my review history reflects that I have enjoyed the cultural treasures of more than a few metropolitan areas. None compare to NY. The energy of the city mixed with the incredible ladies based there....wow!  Plus, contrary to the image I find NY to be a rather friendy place.

Yes I love living in DC. But I am bat shit crazy about hobbying in NY.
Actually...I've been tempted more than once to relocate to Manhattan. I could certainly see spending the next chapter of my life in Soho.

There is an ignore feature you can use if you really hate seeing someone's posts.  Sexe, I know, is a bit of a shill, and gives unreasonably high scores for every single woman he sees, but so what?  Seriously...I could care less whether he posts or not.  And it doesn't bother me that he does.  I don't find his info or reviews to be particularly useful, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a right to be on this board.  He hasn't been negative towards anyone else, and he is constantly taking abuse from others.

Unlike others on this board who are stalkerish, abusive, and downright sociopathic, Sexe is nothing like that.  I know some of the more juvenile, cliquish people on this board will somehow twist this into a "Sexe is my friend" thing, but it's not that way at all.  The guy has done nothing really to offend anyone else, and you can always just ignore him.

I haven't seen evidence of Sexe telling others that they are full of shit, or otherwise being offensive towards others.

It's nice to see that we all love NYC for similar, but different reasons!  It is my one true love affair:-)  Good to be home with my fellow New Yorkers!

Yes, I hope everyone is ready for Frankenstrom!  Lots of water batteries and flashlights!

Kisses to NYC!

Love,

AAT
