Intended to prevent risk of cervical cancer down the road by preventing HPV infection also helps prevent infection/transmission of genital warts.
Hopefully, an effective vaccine may be out one day for Herpes as well as other STDs.
Of course there is no substitute for safe practice - both inside and outside the hobby.
