Im not patronizing those that ask.  It just throws me everytime so I decided to bring it to the forum.  Is the blurred face/cropped body that big of a deal?  I would think that most men could care less about the neck up.  Then again Im not a man.  A couple of guy friends have declared that it doesnt matter and they'll just "put a brown paper bag over her head" if her body is banging or "i'll take a pig in a wig if she likes me!"  (They are not hobbyist mind you)  Well when I showed them before and after pics and the face was the main point being "retouched" oh how they had a hissy fit about how disappointed they would be.  Personally I have been told how "much more clientele I would recieve if I didnt't blur my face"  Am I paranoid because I feel like I can see the fresh pimple I got the morning of the photo shoot through the blur!  I can see me!  Can you?  Aargh!  On the other end I don't mind explaining why I choose to blur.  Now so many requests to show my beautiful face have got me to thinking: should I unblur my face and chop my body and be known as "The Head"?  No body shots!  Just some thoughts Im sharing.  Are potential new friends weary because of "The Blur"?

While I love to see a woman reveal her beautiful face on her site or in posts, it doesn't bother me at all if she prefers to maintain her privacy by not showing her face, either by cropping, blurring or simply turning away.  Maintaining the ability to say "no that's not me" has a certain common sense ring to it.   This extra discretion is often associated with the very best independents.  I love women who have a real life outside the hobby.  I want them to view their liaison with me as an exciting diversion from their normal routine.  No reason why the provider can't dress up, put on sexy lingerie, and enjoy the fantasy as well.  It's better that way for everyone.  

For someone with a job, a family, a current or former boyfriend, a former school teacher, a minister, or any one of dozens of people who should be minding their own business, I say go ahead, preserve plausible deniability.

If you have a mother, father, siblings, children, neighbors, collegues, friends who you care about, keep bluring your face. Think about how your mother would feel if her neighbor told her he just saw some pictures of her daughter offering a CIM special on a fuck board... Gag. I'm not saying you offer that, I'm saying think before you do anything that could ruin your life. As far as getting more business, it is probably true. Is it worth ruining your life over it? I don't think so.

1.  Those who just want to fuck something.  A street walker will do.  Or a hooker at a brothel.  Or a massage girl at an AMP.  

2.  Those who want the GFE.  I don't mean a list of acronyms.  I mean a girl who makes them feel like she'd do them for free if they met under different circumstances.  A true GFE.  These guys want intimacy.  Someone they can talk to, and go down on, and kiss, and look into her eyes while they fuck.

Obviously, these are 2 extremes.  There are plenty of guys who fall into the middle, or are seeking something else entirely.  However, my point is...

The guys who just want to get their dicks wet are all about the body.  They don't care about the face.  They don't plan on kissing it, or even looking at it.

For the guys who are seeking more intimate connections, the face is probably more important than the body.  The girl still has to have an attractive enough body to be appealing, but guys who fall for a pretty face, and a great personality tend to care much less about extra pounds her and there.

I don't think any woman should show her face if she is uncomfortable doing so.  You have a private life to protect.  But by not showing your face, I think you tend to limit your clients to those who don't care about your face.  I would argue that the ones who do care about your face are probably better clients to have.

That's where Meet & Greets come in.  You get to meet and show your face to clients without having to go public.

The reason is: their life goal is not fucking some drunk for a living. For most women with a reasonable IQ this is just a stopover while in college or preparing for higher goals. The ones who have nothing to lose and can afford to show their face are probably in this for the long haul. To each their own, but I want to be able to look people in the eye now, as well as long after I'm done with this.
By the way, on the high end of the game, gentlemen prefer to see those who will NOT be recognized in public as a whore. Kisses!
