Someone who doesn't know the business at all and take the time to train her. Think about how much conflict of interest there is if this assistant is booking 10 other independents and she works on commissions? Mine is well to go with an agency when the deal is clear and all out in the open. Plus you don't get the feel for the client first hand which is so important.
