I received a weekend request for 3 days. This gentlemen called me a few times last night while my cell was off and left voice mails. I was able to return his call earlier today. He had advised me that he emailed me some information for verification. He went to say how he was seeing just one provider for 6 years and was not comfortable with reaching out for her for reference as he was the one that broke it off. I was at the nail salon so I said when I get home I will look at the verification information he did provide and take it from there.

When I read his email he gave me his business website. Which that is not enough but decided to check something out even before I called him to get more information. I decided to do a very simple thing just to check how serious he is. I called the hotel just to reconfirm the reservation with his name and confirmation number he provided in email. Sure enough the reservation was canceled. I called him back to inform him of this which I got a reply of quote " Oh, wow that cant be! Let me call hotel and see what happened and call you right back". This was 4 hours ago...lol.

Now of course my mind screams rip-off and I wouldn't want another provider to be caught in this scam. I am not part of the ladies board so any ladies that may be interested in his information please TER pm me.

I enjoy to make new friends but I love my safety more ;)

xoxo

It's very common to require a deposit, in advance, for a multi day appointment.  Especially from a new client who won't give you a reference.  That doesn't do anything for your safety, but at least it prevents you from getting ripped off.

Yes, that would have been one of my requirements. But, I wanted to check hotel reservation first before even going further. I dont think he expected that one. He must have thought if he forwarded me the confirmation email from hotel with confirmation number that I would accept that. So, he gets a confirmation number than cancels it. I check all those things because things like this can happen.

It just shows that ladies should verify everything even with a deposit....just to be safe :)

There are stories of people losing everything if Paypal thinks you violate their terms of service. They do not just close an account, they close the account and keep the balance! I think there are threads on the Newbie board, too.

Paypal might work for some, but YMMV.

Just noticed that.  Should have read it more carefully.  Not sure why Larissa doesn't post on the PO Board but perhaps she should.  Or possibly a provider will read her OP and put it up there.

but  Starting in 2011 Paypal will report your transactions over $20K and over 200 transactions to the IRS as  to safety as  for what it is paid -
WHY why and why  you wold use your business name your phone  you advertise here your email  you use here ( I mean for escorting) on pay pall or at ANY place .. some use even checking in in hotels ...
as  normal citizen  we have bank accounts credit  cards and  other then escorting means contact us ..
as to deposits - first of all - it is rare that man you never   talked ever makes deposits   as out of blue .. ot sending you email first asking you day time  etc   so then you ask him deposit  and passing on him your normal citizen not criminal not violating anything  pay pall  account .. or just give him your bank account  chase  has quick pay by email or phone -  add  any email  you want to your chase  and give it  to you client between chase  accounts   it is fast  other take time  to wire

You can Western Union up to 1000 without a name, you just put a security phrase.  Also, I am a big fan of the greendot cards:-)
