Before updating provider profiles for certain info PLEASE think and may be ask her.

I spent days removing all adds and contact info from my profile for a reason.  Thanks god I am not in situation where my life is threatened, but whoever was it that updated my profile again to include link to Sugar Nights and phone number ... FUCK YOU

Hope the 2 days of VIP was worth it for you

Did it ever occur to you that MAY BE if my website says on vacation, date check and P411 profiles are disabled and all ads are down than I may be POSSIBLY not interested in having contact info included in my profile?

I've contacted the sugar site ( who stole my ad in the first place) about 4 times already.  Website link in that ad points to 4 year old website.  Phone number belongs to another RETIRED provider.

Great detective job you genius!

Here's a novel idea for you. You could refrain from flooding the boards and take down your profile if you want to play UTR. Simple, right? Nothing like screaming "you can't see me".

I happen to be one of them.  Just because I am not seeing clients currently does not mean I can't play in this sandbox.

As for "flooding the boards".  TER moved it to NYC board and I had to edit it to take out reference to certain site.  So you can address your displeasure at them.

You have no idea how many sites constantly take our ads and create fake profiles for providers to make their shitty ad malls look like they they have large subscriber count. It violates our privacy AND provides disservice to clients since information usually is outdated.

Then we have the busybodies who have nothing better to do but to keep updating our profiles here on TER for free vip.

Imagine that some directory like went to LinkedIn, took your old CV and insisted on publishing it without your consent. Then someone decided that they have to copy it.  Then another one ... finally someone goes to your CURRENT profile and updates it to include your OLD info. May not be the best analogy in the world, but would YOU be happy?

I just had to retype, no big deal.

In addition, people who are submitting problem reports are not mind readers and whoever updated your profile would more then likely not assume that you are on "hiatus" since you are constantly posting so get with it. Quit bitching or delist yourself. Problem solved.

there is a website called copyscape. They deal with stolen content. very efficient, free for you to check if someone stole some of your content and only a few box to have them taking actions against the person/company who stole content and or photos. If the person or company ignores the wornings, copyscape has power to take their website down all together! that would tech them well

Good luck

So unless something has changed with them recently, they will remove a profile after several threats of filing a dmca complaint.

I may have missed something, but if you're ranting bc a reviewer posted your info as part of his review, then let me chime in with this: as a reviewer, I'll post whatever i feel like posting as long as I believe it's accurate and allowed by the board, its not my responsibility to check in with you to make sure you're ok with it, or if its 100 percent up to date.  Quite frankly, I dont have that much interest in your situation.  If you dont want your info (current or othetwise) posted, then you should never have made that information public, once its out there its out there, you should have thought about the concequences before putting anything on the web...

1) A provider (me) posts ad 3 years ago.

2) Some website (Sugar) simply takes information contained in that ad along with pics and creates profile for me without my permission.  Also referred to as AD STEALING.

3) Sugar is refusing to take my profile off their website.  Profile that I never created to begin with.

4) I removed links to my phone number and email from my TER profile.  It is my personal choice - this is why TER allowing us to change this info on our profiles.  SOMEONE found the outdated ad placed by Sugar and decided to earn 2 free VIP days but filing a problem report on my profile.

Whoever did it had no business doing so, just like the website had no right to steal my ad and picture.

So the point of my rant is simple - if you stumble on 3 year old ad on some obscure website  THINK and ASK the provider  if she is OK with that info reflected in her profile.  She may not want to be misleading people by having links to outdated website, old pics and non existent rates.

This is not about reviews, it about common respect.  And yes, if you are updating someones profile you better make sure it is up to date!

Im only vaguely familiar with Sugar, but I see sites like that as a simple database of provider ads, past and present.  So let me ask you this; do they claim that their profiles are 100percent accurate and up to date and created by the providers?  I'm guessing they don't...  so the way i see it, since your ad was indeed out there at one time, there is nothing wrong with having a record of it on Sugar... Actually I really like that concept!  Yes, it might not be favorable to you at this time, but come on, this is the internet, those are the concequences...

Which is blatant lie!

Here is copy of their Terms and Conditions

"The content of all ads appearing on SugarXXXX.com is provided by independent advertisers who are solely responsible for such content including, without limitation, all text and images. Same goes for many other sites of that nature.  They copy and paste Eros ads to make it look like their site is popular.  This way they can earn advertising money.

And there is PLENTY wrong with my ad being there.  Not just mine, but any other lady's. If you are a business owner, would you like to have OUTDATED ads for your business? Ads you have no control over?  There is absolutely no value for clients to these ads.  All they give you is opportunity to see what some provider looked like years ago and what she charged.  What about this concept do you like?

And lets not forget that there are plenty of situations when a provider needs to take all her ads down due to retirement, or because she is being stalked or someone just outed her. Don't you think we have a right to have these profiles deleted?

Last but not least, just because you CAN do something does not mean you SHOULD.

This business is based on privacy and discretion exercised BOTH ways.  If a lady wishes to take her info down she should be able to.

I will give you another example.  Lets say a provider posted your information on one of the blacklist sites.  As of this moment it is out there on internet.  Then simple database of bad boy reports takes that info and publishes it on their site.  Then another.  Then another.  Would you like to be able to take that information down?  Believe me, if that happened you would NOT like that concept as much.
