Do you have a web site or reviews?  I didn't see a reviews link under your name.  Would like to have an idea of who I am talking to.

Hobbiest's can no longer review new providers that use Eros for their information? Recently, I helped a new provider to start getting established. She attended recently the Mixer, has her add on EROS and has just had a review of her's be denied because she doesn't have her own active website.

Is this something new?

My experiences with Eros providers who are not reviewed on TER has been mostly disappointing due to the old age practice of "Bait & Switch"...Besides that problem exists the risks associated with getting ripped off, assaulted, robbed and arrested.Take it from this old timer...stick with TER reviewed providers. Do your research through the remarkably comprehensive and user friendly search tools that TER offers.Besides getting the real deal, a TER reviewed provider is anxious to please as she knows  that if she doesn't, an unfavorable review will hurt her business. My hats off to the TER's new policy, as Eros ads although classier than the old Craig List's ads, are strictly money oriented and have no concern for the informational  benefits afforded to the TER hobbyist. Caveat Emptor.

But I want to run them by a few people before I start posting them.  FakeFinder, if you are reading this, please check your PMs or e-mail me at [email protected].

EROS is no better than back page or any other bull shit advertising agency that doesn't care about screening for bait and switch. Again it's about time.

They (Eros) have been saying recently that care about the concerns of their advertisers and want to make their site better.  Having advertised with them for years, I have a few ideas of how they could make the site better for potential clients without upsetting their lawyers.  However, a number of ladies probably will NOT like my ideas.

Miss Logan, I have been advertising with Eros since 2002.  I would like to hear your ideas.  I'm sure I would agree!

Exactly! The only difference between EROS and other websites  is 300-1000/month.
Check out my previous posts to EROS, the biggest SCAM ARTISTS in the INDUSTRY.
And that's after I was their "COSTUMER" for 4.5 years, MIND U:

I'm sure providers don't need to have their own web site in order to be reviewed on TER.  I've reviewed one who only has listings on P411 and Date-Check and that's been enough.  She never advertises on Eros or other such sites.

I agree that Eros needs to step up it's efforts, but I have reservations about TER only accepting reviews from providers with established web pages.

I haven't submitted a review for a couple of years but had an impulse to review someone I saw from BP recently, who wouldn't have a web page.

But she's gorgeous and I wanted to review her to both help her out but also because I was shocked that someone so beautiful had absolutely no trail.

Now as for Eros, I have a few suggestions.

1.)  they could keep their fake ads for their own revenue purposes but at the very least they must add search links for "reviewed providers" so we wouldn't have to waste time scrolling through the trash.

2.) they could attempt some sort of "verified provider" listing similar to what CityVibe does but that itself would be vulnerable to corruption and pay schemes so it's a secondary option. \
3.) if the provider can't list and show at least one actual porn scene they've performed in, don't allow them to purchase add space under "xxx actress" tag of the site.

Option 1 would never fly as their legal defense is ignorance.  Acknowledging reviews (especially ones on this site) would undermine their whole legal premise.

Option 2 is a good idea.  I think a "Photo ID Verified" stamp on the ads of us who have sent in our photos IDs would be good.  Some accounts get picked on, some don't.  http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?BoardID=3&SortBy=DateCreated%20desc&SearchType=1&Author=misslogan&DayFrom=300&DayTo=0&MessageID=114106&frmSearch=1#114106

Option 3 I totally agree with.  That should be simple and non-incriminating. I will suggest that to them.

The review may have been denied for another reason, but it is not because she only has an EROS ad. there are several reviews posted today with EROS only ads.
If you are referring to Aurora's first review, it posted a while ago.

Maybe I should of waited for a non rainy day.  This has nothing to do with EROS! I'm  concerned about something important!

Quit Hijacking my thread ........go make your own lol!   Thank you!

Also, BeatPoet is on it already.

Don't change the topic!!!!!

to the point of being pathetic. Vida Guerra is one who comes to mind.

It gets even worse with lesser-known pics they suspect no one will know about and when they steal pics of other providers.

Bravo to the ladies who don't resort to that level.
