Might not be a bad idea for the ladies whose ability to advertise has been severely curtailed to take a few hours off, and attend events such as these so as to network with like minded folks in person, and perhaps meet a prospective new client or two? Same with the guys who no longer have the access they had previously to ads.

Unfortunately, the organizer of those gatherings retired, and no one has stepped up in her place. Before that, over a decade ago, there were gatherings held at a now closed bar in the City which were smaller, and very low key. I'd love to see this revived, but it entails a significant effort to organize and execute successfully.

Alas I was around last month, but this month I am back in India. I will be in the USA over the summer. Hopefully there will be another M&G then so I can arrange to be in town for it.
