Hey all hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.

I am thinking of making my first out of state trip to New York after summer and was wondering where are the good places to eat and shop? I have never been to New York before and would like a fun and "Fun" trip into one. *Smiles*

New York's the best restaurant town in the world -- more variety than Paris or Hong Kong, better chefs than anywhere. Get yourself a copy of the Zagat Guide and enjoy all the choices. There's also a Zagat for New York shopping, and I'd especially recommend going jewelry shopping on West 47th, St., home to hundreds of diamond dealers.
