it is my understanding that OLD female condoms were very noisy and got bad rep.  Newer version (see link) is a lot better.

I use both female and male condoms and to be honest FC win.

I have used them twice with a provider and I actually thought they were fantastic.  It really felt like going BBFS to me.  I wish more providers would start using them.  If there are any providers that use them you should post and let us know or send me a PM and perhaps we can do some further studies on this together.

I'll admit, I saw this topic in another city, but it was such a good question I thought I'd ask the men and women of NY their thoughts...

Have you ever used a female condom? Did you prefer it over a male condom? I myself have tried it once and it was not well received, so I never thought to again, but perhaps he was in the minority?

I've tried them a few times with a few different ladies.  

To me, it really feels like I am fucking a piece of plastic.  A traditional condom dulls all sensations, but still feels much more real to me than using a female condom.  

I also, recently, had the experience of doing DATY using a dental dam, and it was the same thing.  I may as well have been licking a balloon.  Because of that experience, I'd never ask anyone to do a cbj.  I'd rather none at all.

That said, I don't know about your side of it.  Maybe women get more sensation when using a female condom over a traditional one.

Female condoms are probably useful if you are in a doubles scenario, because you wouldn't need to switch condoms when moving from one to the other, but, personally, I'll take the quick switch.

In my experience FCs can really enable a great doubles session;  switching condoms midstream (so to speak) loses the rythm and the immediacy of the experience.  With FCs all three (assuming its only three) participants can interact naturally, outweighing any downside.   Moreover, tt takes great stamina to stop the action and change condoms repeatedly; my hat's off (forgive the pun) to the guy who can pull that off repeatedly without losing some "motivation".

Sorry to disagree with my friend Waterclone, but in a 3 way, female condoms are the way to go. I like to switch back and forth, and changing condoms slows things down

It felt great to me,  close to bareback, and there was none of the "noise" to which the other poster referred.  I wish I had the name of the brand to pass along.  The only thing I didn't like about it was seeing the plastic edges of the FC sticking out of her pussy while we did it.  So I concentrated on looking at her fine  ass.
