Open note on why TER works for me...Am I crazy?,

Dear Whitelightning:

The TER systems works really well for me, and it appears to work for thousands of others. I'm sorry that the system upsets you so...

First of all, I do not know what you are looking at with the claims of shilled reviews...there is a lot of care taken to avoid this and a quick look at the last 20 new NYC reviews shows incredible consistency and a ton of ratings in the 6-7 range.

Secondly, the review system makes it possible to search, refine and search again within a huge database, and get my info from fellow commited hobbyists who took the time to build this great resource. And guess what, the reviews are amazingly accurate.

The discussion board does not provide the format, detail or security i want. On the NYC board a search on "snow" means I have to sort through a lot of unrelated stuff, often from uncommited members with an ax to grind, with items ranging from your posts to Alexia coaxing us in out of the snow (a nice thought, though)...

I guess the biggest issue i have with your ilk is that when you  shit on the review data, you shit on me and every other member.

Thanks for your opinion but maybe its time for you to move on or start your own site, or maybe a blog,eh?

good luck

And there is no way Julie is typing reviews, and you should apologize to her for that accusation immediately or be banned from her establishment for life!

But that's just my opinion....

No apology is given to what my eyes have seen, Julie sitting at her amchine with your log in on the screen typing away.  What is she doing except shilling to get biz.

Tell me why 10 reviews in a row just happen to be Julies girls now, almost every day.  Just so happens all the clients write with the same time frame given 3 mins apart- Wake up and stop patronizing the readers for your advertisers.

That is startying to happen now with Mona Lisa- people in this economy are paying 600 plus an hr and will take time to post?
This econ. is to slow for all that volume going to 600 an hr plus when the 200-3-- are starving.

Look at the review posts, several now in a row from Mona Lisa that is Julies style.

The AMP's have started that also.

I keep hearing that. I'm new here. My income keeps going up, and ML is an agency I'm considering.

Hell! I want a ggod agency to help me find a fun girl for myself and my friends. I'm even considering bringing a girl in from Mona Lisa in Sydney!

Not everyone is broke or hurting financially. I for one, am doing quite well. (knock on wood :)

I'm glad that some people are still doing well while the majority of people are rewriting budgets and cutting back on classes for their children, record numbers of banruptcies (sp), just to name a few signs of the failing economy. You know, the retailers screamed poverty for so long it actually happened.

here in NYC you have to notice... more and more good retail space has for lease signs and no takers... nice ground floor high traffic locations... the place is like an anti matter roach motel, they move out, but they don't come back... sure I read most of the economic stuff... what the pundits and talking heads assure me is the case, but it would feel better if the evidence matched up. maybe we're a special case of being not in sync with the rest of the nation, but you don't see that much property unleased when the expectations are for a solid recovery, no way

I think NY is an anomoly. While I don't believe the economy is going gang busters, it is growing.

You realize our GDP grew at a faster rate last year than almost every industrialized nation, (the exceptions were Canada and Australia). Projections for this year are at 3% or higher.

I don't think things are perfect, but the assumption that everything is bad because it's in NY, is incorrect.

there's too much excess capacity left over from the boom times... some economists are throwing around numbers like 5 or 6% GDP growth... man, at times like those, the hobby is as hot as a griddle. But the facts are hard to argue with. In a half normal time with interest rates this low the house would be on fire. As it it they're crawling along waiting for something beautiful to happen. There have to be pockets of recovery around the nation but NYC has the tone of being stuck in second gear for a while to come. If there's a bust up in Iraq, all the mainstream media guarantees us is getting better every day and the field reports don't sound so great... for all of us who remember 'Nam it has a real similar ring to it.. the gravy train could skid off the rails... and our media choose to ignore that the chinese central bank is buying hundreds of millions of dollars each day on the currency markets to stabilize the forex rates for the Yuan... a policy change with them could alter the course of this recovery substantially... hope for the best but watch your back.

Are you looking in the right place?

The number one is KS' samantha, but that can change any minute as the reviews seem to be approved in batches...a quick search by KS phone number shows 8 different KS women reviewed over the past two months. Some good some bad, and many with a history of reviews over the past year. Just not Snow...

Again I apologize on behalf of the the entire TER membership for not being able to provide that review for you, but she's not my type.

BTW, i really doubt Julie wrote the reviews about Heaven being "tired and pudgy"...I don't think she'd want Heaven's wrath :-)

Julie you reading this thread?

convenient for me and I like Eileen, the phone girl.  I will post an occasional review.  From my point of view, the reason I do a review is to provide info to the public and since people like you are not interested in the info, why should I write a review.  As you may or may not be aware, people complain about the paucity of reviews of ML girls and there is this misconception that they all ex runaway models which is not the case.  I think that is why the vast majority of people who use Mona Lisa and I would also bet the vast number of people who use Mona Lisa are not VIP members of TER and in any event, don't rely on the reviews because there are so few.

I have never used Julies (I don't want to be credentialled again and I really like outcall to my hotel)but the sense I get is that it is a well liked establishment with nice girls. If they would honor my credentials from Mona Lisa (Eileen or Mia would call and say I was good) then I might go overthere.  But for the little time I get to spend in NYC, it's not worth it otherwise.  They do a fairly high volumes and their clientale like the perks associated with a review but they alo participate in the system and I applaud them for that.

I agree there are issues with the review system but I think Blur does the best he can.  The volume of new reviews is extraordinary.  I once saw a whole page of reviews go up in an hour.  Remember how many people there are in NYC, lots more providers and hobbyists than anywhere else. I am sure if we all had a chance to change the review system we would but it would be unlikely to be any better than the one we have now.

So play nice, have fun or not.  It's all the same to me.

Blur,

I don't know if you're crazy or not LOL, but on this particular topic you seem completely sane. And I agree 100%

Blur is right. TER system works for every hobbyist.  We have hobbyists who investigate and expose "Ripoff".  What whitelightening is noticing - and I have noticed it, as well -- is the "velvet rope" effect: hobbyists will cruise the recent reviews, see someone reviewed, go to that provider, and then review that provider.  The provider tapping out a review is quickly exposed.

The TER system works just fine.

I'm 100% with you blur.

I think it's good that everyone be able to express their opinion here. Due to the nature of the hobby there will not always be an across the board consensus. Everyone has a their own standard of what great service, and looks should be. Some have higher standards than others. When researching reviews look at the reviewer. How many reviews have they written? Are they varied or blatantly consistent? Pay attention to the reviews of members with taste similar to your own.

As far as shilling is concerned, ladies giving freebies for  favorable reviews isn't a financially sound proposition. Some guys are just very loyal to the providers or houses they like and are willing to share the details.

U R in the wrong business, what about advertising LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has everyone noticed what I have been yelling about.  Alexia responded to the thread but what does she doe SHE ADDS A LINK FOR ADVERTISING. Why can she not just nswer and repond without the free advertising.  Thats what this crap is all about, free advertising that is against policy but being tolerated.  Julie does it with the moujntain of reviews.  Just look at the date history, start from today and see the number of reviews of Julies day after day all in a row, sometimes every girl in her stable.
Except on Sundays, she is closed then and does not write in her spre time.

No house gets reviews 10 in a row some days because we the TER  public go there that often, if thats the case Julie is the only person inNY that has a growing biz at 150% every month.  God bless the profits.  Maybe with al the taxes she should be paying she can alone balance the NYC budget mess.
Regarding Heaven, she was a problem, went out on her own so Julie tries cutting her off it seems so that the biz would come back to Julie in search of replacement.  Thats how things work.

seriously, the inside knowledge you have in this business is unbelievable. your insights on the specific who, what where and how is incredible and i am trying very hard to think of a way to channel your energies in a way that helps us all...

maybe you need a show, like a live chat session that we do weekly. you could start with the "NYC Escort News", do some Q&A, maybe interview a special guest, we could do "bogus review of the week" and you could have a "commentary" section.

think about it, pick a night and let's do a pilot?

Now that you've exposed whitelightening--who indeed has never posted a review, let's forget him.  His charge of shilling is best answered by the following procedure:  If a new provider has one or two glowing reviews, and those reviewer have never posted before or have only reviewed the other girls in an establishment--forget the reviews and the reviewers.  Julies--which I have yet to visit--has had too many reviewers over too many years who have reviewed providers from other establishments to be generating phoney reviews.  So thank you Alexia and Blur.  Up until your charge that Whitelightening had posted no reviews--which is true--I thought his views eccentric but worth listening to.  Please, Blur--you must be joking about a chat show.  Remember, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

routinely had multiple reviews posted in a day.  There is also another reliable agency in Boston who has many reviews written about their ladies.  Similarly, if one checked the Seattle reviews, a large number of them are of ladies belonging to 2 agencies.

If you check the DC, Boston, NYC, Philly reviews, you will find many reviews about touring ladies from 3 or 4 well respected Florida agencies (MC, BDJ, Sweeties, etc.)

As far as I know, there are only 3 or 4 visible agencies that are reasonably reliable in NYC - Fleur De Elite and its affliate NYC Cover Girls; Mona Lisa; American Beauties (not sure about them myself) and Julie's (I trust Julie's because I trust fortitude).  In general, TER members rarely wrote many reviews about high end ladies (with the exception of PSEs or a few LA ladies).  Most of those hobbyists don't want those hassle associated with submitting reviews or spend the time to write down the juicy details.

In additon, TER is extremely strong in West Coast but less so in Midwest and East Coast.

I have just visited a city, saw 6 ladies from the same agency and wrote reviews about 5 of them (the other one has yet to be listed in their site).  Those reviews are posted within 2 days.  One can be suspicious about mine too.  However, I live in LA and I submitted most of the reviews on location in the hotel early in the morning so it was easy for Staff to verify.

There is a recent thread in LA board about guys traveling down to Tijuana, Mexico, went to a couple clubs there, had sex with 15 ladies in 3 - 4 days.  If those ladies have websites, reviews would be written about them.  Apparently this happened quite often but if one applies your logic, those tales would be all considered fakes.
