Those providers are "endorsing" the app for FREE exposure. The app is using those ladies images to make itself SEEM legit / as though it's being used. It's a smart but very deceptive marketing strategy.
Joining would honestly be a waste of your money, and amongst ourselves most reputable ladies agree that we would never trust a verification "app" that uses such manipulative tactics in its advertising (lies about already having thousands of active members, SPAM campaigns via email and TER PM, no actual verification involved when you join despite its claims, etc.). Their marketing looks good, but unfortunately it's all smoke and mirrors. It's clear from how they operate that they do not understand how this industry works, but they DO understand marketing. However their product is, at this point, still useless. Check back in five years. Maybe their manipulative marketing campaign will work for them eventually... But I know I will never accept Lux Verify as a form of screening based on how dishonest they are revealing themselves to be in getting themselves started. A company that lies from the get-go is not one that I will consider trusting with my safety.
There was some animated discussion last week about different views on screening. There's been a banner on this site for a "screening and verification app": Lux Verify. Their website claims that:
"Our reliable, secure service eliminates the need for the time-consuming methods needed in the past to verify identity. Share your ID code to verify your identity without compromising your privacy."
Not compromising privacy certainly appeals to me. At the same time, I am certainly sensitive to a provider's concern about safety. And it seems that the product is endorsed by a number of well-known providers. So, maybe it's worth a try? Any experience from either gents or ladies here in using this for "screening and verification"? Thanks
