i'm sure others on here have had more extensive experience, but i did get to hobby a little on a quick (4 day) trip to BA last summer. there seem to be 3 types of scenes. 1) a very large number of independent girls who advertise everywhere and host individually or in small groups at a private location, 2) pv or privados which are basically brothels (low as well as higher end) and 3) lastly bars that serve as pick-up spots where you can arrange for a session which then occurs at a short-stay hotel nearby. the latter seems to function better as a tourist trap. my guess is that serious local hobbyists stick to option 1 or 2. for advice on those, i think it would help to read up some of the forros (online discussion boards) specific to the BA scene, assuming you can manage in spanish. i ended up opting for a pv (esmeraldavip) which had a website and was well-regarded by some frequent posters on a board i followed for some time. at the time, you could see pics of girls that worked there, although you have to take it with a grain of salt as some/many may be outdated. i've since noticed that they no longer have pics of individual girls on the site (guess they're being more cautious). while it was tame relative to some shady pv's i've read about, it's definitely not a tourist attraction. i got to the address and was led a couple of floors up in an elevator by a bouncer who was suspicious about a gringo wandering into this place. he asked a few probing questions then buzzed me in. there was a receptionist at the entrance who asked whether i was there to see a specific girl. when i said that i was not, she led me to a room. the room was clean, with a shower, massage table and daybed (i found out later that, for an extra fee, you can request rooms upstairs with a bed). she then told me that it would be 500 pesos (about $60 at the time) for an hour, that i could pay her, then the girls would come in, introduce themselves and i could pick one. i was skeptical about paying and then being presented with a bunch of heifers, but decided to play along. At worst, i would just be nice to the girl and have an interesting story to tell my friends later. so, i paid her and then expected the girls would show up as a group. instead, what followed was a procession where about 15 women walked in, one-by-one and introduced themselves. most of the introductions were simple handshakes. but, because each woman got to close the door behind her and present herself privately, there was an opportunity to show off individual skills/assets; some went straight for dfk, others grabbed my hand and had me fondle their boobs, ass or other body parts. that alone was worth the price of admission. after the last one came and left, they all came back in the room together so i could pick one. as it turned out, there were several more-than-ok girls to choose from but i fell in lust with an early-20-something, dark-haired beauty with full natural breasts. she had some native traits that indicate that she was likely of paraguayan origin, just gorgeous. after the girls all walked out, she came back in alone and started a half-hearted massage while i was sitting on the table. when i went in for a kiss, the massage ended and the session began. i could tell she was new at this and that might have been her way of feeling me out. the hour flew by as we went through an alphabet soup of positions (all very safe, of course). i had so much fun with her that i came back to see her again the next day before heading out to the airport. maybe, likely, just random luck, but i couldn't imagine having a better experience in BA. in the discussion boards, there are often threads about individual girls, whether in pv or independent, so i'm sure fun can be had in both of these scenes. i have nothing to say about the bar pick-up scene. but, you're sure to have fun if you do a little homework. wish i was going with you. enjoy.
