Since Alana is a well reviewed well respected poster on TER, did you ever THINK that maybe, just maybe she made a mistake and overlooked the earlier post????
Yeah there are rules and guidelines so how about let the moderator handle things as he sees fit, ya know like maybe via back channel her a reminder as opposed to in public, since she is a well respected member. We really do not need some sniveling little cry baby snitch , over a petty thing.

Alias, if everyone knows the alias WHY are some (who do not hide behind an alias) ask Who is this info @&*#$@. So NOT EVERYONE KNOWS.

That is my opinion and you are entitled to it.

I'm sure it was a simple mistake. One ad per week is the rule--one that most providers know. Sometimes when you're busy you forget when you lasted posted something.

This is what a provider could do if she needs to let people know she's in town and yet just posted her ad a few days ago:

She can post a reply on another subject (preferably near the top of the page). Invariably a hobbyist will then chime in and say, "Hi, looking forward to seeing you when you get into town next week."

At this point she replies back that she's in town already.

So, mission accomplished without violating TER policy. Men who are interested can email her or scroll back to her ad to see all the details.

And of course, she is allowed to post her link with each message that she replies to.

It's TER's way to encourage posting by providers and I think it's a good idea.

Perhaps Thirsty can let this thread stay up to remind providers of the once per week rule, and how they can work within the system to maintain visibility?

Rules should be guidelines not rigid examples of how things should be done.  You have an incredible hang-up (neurosis) with rules.  Do you have one of those plastic pencil holders full of ink marks and pens in your shirt pocket?  (and if you’re over 50 I bet you still have a slide rule)  Do you wear a PDA attached to your belt?  Are you a software engineer?  Were you the guy in high school who ratted everyone out when the teacher left the class for a moment or when there was a substitute?  Is your favorite song "Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah?"  Do you remember the kids calling you a tattle tale when you were young?  Do you feel insignificant and spout rules to hide your low self esteem?

Have you spent thousands on psycho analysis?  If you haven't you should consider it.  I hope you have health insurance (and if he does, here’s a tip sell your Blue Cross Stock now!).

Have you ever gotten the hint that most of us think you are a HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS!

And if you come out of the alias closet, so will I, Mr. Info-maniac.

Besides, etiquette does not seem to be your strong point.  Trying to appropiate slight variations of other people's handles is not exactly the epitome of etiquette.  Think about it.

I would say Mr. knowitall has you figured out pretty well.

Seems that you spend every waking moment here looking for some silly little thing to and make a snooty little comment or piss, moan, whine and or snitch.

Now it does seem that you know TER - the rules/guidelines, process etc. very well, and on rare occasion make a good post, but the little shit, give use a break ,do not worry about it!!! There are a bunch of great mods around who are most capable of taking care of it AS THEY SEE FIT!!! And if one slips through, what's the big deal.....TER will survive and the world will not end.

So get a life, get out and about, have a few beers, catch a ball game (it is baseball season)  GET LAID ! !

like, for example, my ad on the LA board which I posted a couple of days ago.  It was almost immediately swamped by a couple of lengthy posts that followed it and was pushed off the front page into oblivion. Now, if I was really devious, I could reply to this post with a completely irrelevant answer and then put a post on the LA board referring to my post on this board.  Or I could post on the LA board regarding any topic I could dream up (eg what do men think of when they're bored, which of the Robinson sisters did you think was hotter - Penny or Judy, why is prostitution illegal, but selling Amway is ok? etc) and append a link to my site or just gratuitously throw in a picture, preferably one with lots of rude bits showing or maybe even something with batteries, or a even a ride-on.  Anyway, of course, I wouldn't dream of doing that, but I might one day and it'll certainly give me something to think about when I'm in LA over the Memorial Day long weekend.

I was supposed to see her solo but received a phone call from Candy a day or so before the appointment letting me know that she was not coming to NY because of illness.  She did not sound to good.  Met Candy once before and she was great, possibly my ATF, and she is the only lady so far that I was looking to repeat.
