Scrolling through the newly listed Providers recently I was struck by how many had their first review posted by a first time reviewer. Maybe I missed it before but I was shocked by the regularity of the occurrence.
It's one thing for a regular reviewer to occassionally "Take One for the Team" and post a review of a previosly unreviewed provider. But a new reviewer posting a TER review of a previously unreviewed Provider. Seems contrary to the entire intent of TER. Is it just me or is that an obvious fake review being planted?
One agency, NY Angel takes it a step further. 2 newly listed Providers with that agency each have 2 reviews. But all of the reviewers are posting a TER review for the first time.
Here's another obvervation with one newly reviewed Provider. There have been some posts recently suggesting that "1800 for a date" is actually NY Pink (an agency I never used). I found a review of a newly listed Provider from that agency. I looked up the reviewer that posted the Provider's one review. I was surprised to see that he actually had 6 prior reviews. When I checked his reviews, the first two were Providers with New York Pink. He gave each 9/9s. The next three were all for the "successor" agency, 1800 for a date. Again he gave all three 9/9s and in fact one of the recent reviews was about by a Provider with the same name as one of the NY Pink Providers. Now to be fair, this guy had a 7th review, this time a Provider with an AMP that he gave a 7/7. He did say he is from out of town but the sequence of reviews just seemed suspicious.
