I keep getting to the moment of putting up the website... The there is a bust, then another, then newspaper articles about CLES and indy stings, ect... This ALL makes me very wary in the wake to put it out there because I feel like I will be vunarable as well. I know there is not a tendency to go after indy providers because it is not worth the hassle but still... I have a great education and a career that could esily be destroyed. As I know living this part of my life always puts that at a risk I am fearful it will even more so when the site goes up. Please help with some ideas, thoughts, experience on this matter. I am not putting the site up antil I get more insight on this. Thanks for your help.
There have been numerous outing on various boards connected with CL; Another provider and I had all our personal info posted for everyone to see...when you have a site it if fairly easy to search the host for your info..if you need to protect your 'other' life you must stay as UTR as possible all postings and publicity will open you to ALL types of people...this is a crazy business...I was cyber stalked for over a year by a man I never saw...he has posted very personal info on many National pmbs and jeapordized my apartment...rub the wrong person the wrong way once and....its scary out there

Are you saying that you paid a fee to have your personal information blocked in the whois database? You don't have to pay for that. Just tell your hosting company that you don't want this information listed.

On the issue of exposure on the internet, the only problem you have is showing your face. If you want to escort in a more safer and discreet way, get a good photographer to take nice pictures of you without showing your face. Many girls hide their faces (Chloe Summers, Sabrina and Erotic Gina are some examples) and they get the same amount of business because what's important is your good reviews and reputation.
Don't blur your face or, worse, cover it with a graphic. It just doesn't look as good. As Betty suggested, a good photographer can hide your face without having to edit the pictures.
